feemcg
Wee Anna came home yesterday and said she was making a truck in Technology ( , never did anything like that when I was 9). The class were asked what their truck was to be used for and she said the Battery Hen Welfare Trust . So some of the children started asking her what it was and she tried to explain. When she came home and told me I said why didn't she take some BHWT leaflets in and give them to those that asked. So, she took them in and her teacher said why didn't she go to the Head and ask if she could talk about it at assembly.......and she did!.......stood up in front of the whole school and told them what the BHWT was about and the Head asked her some questions to prompt her along! feemcg
I didn't hear her, she just told me what happened.....I'll hear all about it at parents' night next week. I only go to the church assemblies if one of mine has a 'part'......and bubble the whole way through......I just cannot listen to wee ones speaking, singing, playing an instrument without crying. Must be my age . My eldest said she looked up at me when she was getting a prize and was embarrassed to see me wiping my tears.......sorry can't help it
