If Leona or Ben win... they will make money...possibly only in the short term. The McDonalds have the potential to make him a fortune....they are cut from the same cloth as Daniel O'Donnell , Foster and Allen etc. These people are tragic, but they do have a loyal and very large following, who buy their records in droves. By ridiculing the McSporrans (which they deserved) repeatedly and then this week appearing to grudgingly acknowledge that they did "OK" , he has cleverly backed a third horse, and given more people permission to vote for them, because voters tend to think that Simon has his finger on the pulse so to speak.....if he thinks they are cool, then they must be.
