Rona
Couldn't see what to aaaahhhh about as my 'puter is on go slow tonight so wouldn't show me what it was all about. However, I have a ducky story today from chap in our village papershop who was very excited because he has been looking after a little duckling with a broken leg and she walked on her own for the first time today. He is going to dig a little hole and line it with plastic to make a little pond for her and keep her in his guinea pigs' outdoor run until she is big enough to release back into the river. Didn't know how the duckling's leg had been broken but apparently the mother duck wasn't much use and has since lost all her other ducklings . According to chap in papershop, if she was human, social services would have taken all her ducklings into care !!

Saronne x Thank you, Iwescott! Doesn't the cover look wonderfully dated?! (P.S. I was a little girl in the 1960s). Saronne x
Saronne
Thanks for posting that Diane - there is hope for mankind at last with people like that round. Ducks are terrible mothers! Mark - tissue? Did anyone watch 'Have I got News for You' last night? The duckling clip was on and the presenter said that the banker had to 'clear the ducklings' so that he could climb up and throw himself off...!
