Wet, misty and yukky here today. 12oc :( I am glad it is not a Bank holiday.

If I go outside and wave my hands up and down frantically in a northerly direction, I wonder if I can send our weather up to you like the butterfly effect - a big fat old lady should have more power? :wink:

Where does all this rain come from :? ?

 

It's tipping it down out there at the moment & was when I went to bed last night...did it stop in the night?

 

Yesterday was wet first thing, so we organised our BBQ to be indoors and a trip to the cinema to see Night in the Museum 2 (very funny!) then as our friends arrived the sun broke through & we re-jigged our catering to be outside again, we opened the pool (without any heating :lol: ) and the children all appeared from neighbours houses for a quick dip before lunch! As we finished, the cloud started to sneak back across the sky, so we tootled off to the cinema....and came out to the muggiest afternoon we've experienced in a very long time, just as the rain started to come down again!! We firmly expected a thunderstorm, but nothing materialised.

 

I can see us getting very soggy today as we flit from one chore to another - deep joy! and the chooks & dogs will be decidedly unimpressed :anxious:

My mum informed me yesterday that we were in for a bout of thunderstorms overnight. I checked up on Accuweather and it said 60% chance during the day, but 90% in the night. We had a bit of rain, but I am happy to say we didn't have any storms. It has hammered down a fair bit since dawn and I think it is still raining, but not much. Very dark grey clouds. Nice and fresh, but why is my hayfever being a pain today? :roll:

That's why it's raining...I bought suncream yesterday (horse bolting through an open stable door scenario given the colour of my back & shoulders :shock: !) and you're going camping groovychick...couldn't get a more perfect reason for the weather to go grotty :roll: !!!
