Valkyrie
Beautiful cloud picture. We had dull and grey first thing - very humid though. Then out came the sun and it was hot. Off to High Wycombe and while we were in John Lewis the heaven's opened. All hot and sunny by the time we came out. Now it's back to grey and humid again. Valkyrie
We had flying ant exodus yesterday too - the girls were in their element running round gobbling them up as fast as they could. Thing is they usually fly en mass when there is a storm brewing. We had a very dry day here yesterday, but there was torrential rain and a distant storm at 4 this morning. I think the nearest it came was around 10/12 miles away by my counting. I only saw one flash of lightning too. More rain, but it was nice when I dragged myself out of bed. It has clouded over and it is very muggy. I don't know if another storm is hanging around, but I have one of those headaches again.
chickencam
We had sun later on yesterday and harvested all of our onions and shallots in the evening because we were promised a clear run of sunny days into next week to dry them off. Now they are saying rain this after noon and evening and it is already really dark
Cinnamon
Its really sticky here, verging on the unbearable for me, as I hate being too clammy. I woke to thunder at 5am this morning - hope it comes back for a good go, to clear this air! Very warm though, not much sun sadly.
