Poached Posted May 23, 2009 Share Posted May 23, 2009 hi everyone just a littke upadate to how joeys doing after we have had him for 2 weeks well last week he had o rushed to the vets as his eye was so swollen he could'nt see out of it but the vet said he will get better and he had a bad eye infection so he got given some eye cream and she will check him when he goes to have his second jabs on thursday but otherwise he is great heres some pics taken this morning: ljosh Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I love the first pic where it's just all too much and he has to have a lay down I clean my spaniels eyes with cold tea, it really helps keep them clean He does look like he's had a sore eye bless him, but you did the right thing and got him some ointment for them. Chucky Mama Posted May 28, 2009 Share Posted May 28, 2009 When the swelling has gone down, I would get your vet to check for 'entropion' which is when the bottom eyelid curls in slightly which results in the eyelashes rubbing against the eye making it sore which in turn gets infected.
