I cannot for the life of me see how Nathan didn't get through over the 'florist' and errm singer (sorry) he was much better than them and to be honest at one point I felt like emailing to complain I was that hacked off.. Perhaps he will reapply next year. There have been a few that I can't believe have got through Floral Highnotes being just one of them. The human sax was another now that was just noise!! Cooks
I said to my boys I can make that noise listen, and was harmonising with him.. now it wasn't a nice sound, but I was in marmony with HIM.

susanbb
Julian was FAB ,Couldn't make my mind up abourt Callum or 2 Grand. Still thumbs up for "Stavtos Flatley" for me
Olly
I'm not sure 2 Grand are the greatest singers, but I was in full-on panda mode by the time they'd finished! So were most of the audience, it seems. They had to go through really - Callum will have another chance, but they won't.
Alis girls
No Panda last night, frankly found it a bit boring. I too am holding out for the Flatleys being married to a Cypriot - need to keep the peace
Cooks
Julian was FAB yes I agree he was brilliant!, I was dissapointed that Callum didn't go through. He should have, 2 Grand were a nice act, but not worthy of the final IMO, they were not strong enough singers, even though the sentiment behind her singing with her Grandad choked me up. Jillus
I thought 2 Grand were' nice' but rubbish, the sort of embarrassing thing you see at family weddings. I liked the little Jungle Book boy but to be honest thought the standard was low apart from Julian who was inspired and e deserved to go through. As for the woman with the lit up boobs....I think I have said enough
missuscluck
2 grand were really sweet. The old chap is just lovley. They wont win though. Last nights acts were on the whole poor. I cant really remember whos left to see now. I can ony remember the boy who sings soprano. Whos else is on tonights show?
Chucky Mama
Am I the only one that is really annoyed by the saxophonist? My 80 year old sax teacher would run rings around him. He is really very average. My son has a sax player in his band who is only 17 and again wuld knock him into a cocked hat. I would love 2 Grand to win they are so sweet, not the greatest singers ever but they have something very special together and what a wonderful memory for his granddaughter to have. Cooks
I dont think it matters whether he is the BEST sax player in the world, but that he had enough guts to get up there and play, good on him. I dont see any other sax players up there to give him a run for his money. (well unless you count the human sax) I thought Julian was brilliant and would definately buy his albumn if he had one. susanbb
I just wonder whether Susan Boyle will win after all the flack she's been getting from the press.
Chucky Mama
My 13year old daughter watched it back this morning and said that she could play that piece easily on her clarinet and she is only a grade 3. I agree that he has guts but if he didn't cry and looked like the back end of a bus he would never have got through on talent alone.
Egluntyne
He looks like anything but the back end of a bus to me and has a likeable humility. Rather a gent, I thought. Whether he is the best sax player in the world or not.....I've no idea.
Chucky Mama
I feel sorry for Susan Boyle. When I first saw her I was rooting for her but now I am fed up with hearing about her which isn't her fault but now I don't want her to win which is a shame for her as had she not received the attention that she has I probably would still be routing for her. I think that she has been poorly advised and managed. Someone should have looked after and protected her better. She is a quirky lady and was never going to be able to cope with the attention that she was going to get without some help. I think that she has been let down. Olly
Unfortunately, I think that now the red-top papers have got on to her she doesn't stand a chance. I also don't think she's a strong contender to win any more, like you Chucky Mama I was rooting for her at the start, but her second audition was not nearly as good. The problem with a lot of these acts is really that they're not that good, they're just unusual. 2 Grand are not great singers, but they're a cute double-act. That violinist (who didn't get through) was really only average but she wore a tight skirt and high heels, and I agree with the comments about the sax player, although I don't think he looks like the back end of a bus! You could go to any music festival, music or dance school concert etc and see people with far more talent than this any day. It must be really frustrating for people who've done music degrees etc and are auditioning for work every week, to see someone who's not particularly good getting all this exposure. I'd like Diversity to win - I think they've got real talent and imagination.
Chucky Mama
I totally agree re seeing more talented musicians. I meant that IF he looked like the back end of a bus he wouldn't be so popular (I didn't word it very well - although I can see why he wears a hat, he has the strangest shaped head!). I think that with some obvious exceptions there have been some truly awful acts this year. The old man 'dancing' and the guy squeaking thinking he sounded like a saxophone were embarrasing. He was probably a good singer and his squeaking was actually in tune! If you look at this clip it shows a fab young talent on Sax. What is more, what he is playing is improvised which means that he makes it up on the spot. The trumpeter that follows him and can't be seen that well is my son who was only 14 when this was filmed - also improvised.
Cooks
but I don't believe it's about whether your the best, but whether you have enough guts to put on a show, I agree you can see other musicians elsewhere that could probably play equally as well, but they are not up there playing in front of that audience,
Chucky Mama
I know where you are coming from but I get fed up with those that 'play the emotional card'. How many people 'want a better life' for their families. They just get on with it and work hard. Has it not crossed this guys mind that the reason he hasn't made it is that he isn't acutally that good. You may think differently when you see this website, surely this means that 'Joolz Gianni' is already playing professionally: http://www.classiquepromotions.com/?genre=5&page=
chelsea
I didnt think the old fella doing the breakdancing was much cop - but fair play to him to be that fit at his age. I would like one of the dance groups to win (Diversity or Flawless) I really dont think Susan Boyle should win, she is average IMO.
Cooks
I have to say I love Diversity and Flawless, but Diversity have the edge for me, but only just
