he he I know, we are very prepared. we seem to get loads of kids here. I think we are known as the mad couple! (big kids ourselves)

 

all the sweets are overflowing in my couldron

I've not got the time to make anything, and round here, the children don't want lovely homemade gifts - they only want money. If you don't give them what they want, they empty your bins in your front garden or scratch your car I just don't answer the door.

Thanks for the remInder about marshmallows - I'll light the stove tomorrow night, bake some potatoes on it for supper and melt marshmallows for puddings.

How big is the cauldron?

 

not quite big enough, Ive got about 40 bags of sweets in it at the moment ( each individual bag containing approx 20 "pic n mix" various sweets)

 

I hope they all go as I dont want to be eating them, it was bad enough doing the sweets yesterday it was like -

 

"ok, 2 skulls, 2 sherbert lollies...mmm 1 lolly for me...4 cola bottles, 1 marshmallow,,mmm 2 jelly sharks for me"....

I'm going out especially to get a pumpkin for the competition. If I don't manage to get one then I will stick a big candle through the top of my decomposing one.

A saw with a really thin narrow blade, but a thick handle. Very safe and perfect for cutting corners because it is quite flexible.

Last minute Halloween costume crisis!

The girls have been invited out trick or treating ,& I am out most of the day tomorrow,so need inspiration for costumes now

 

Cleo is sorted- she is being a Genie - not very scarey,but it will do

 

Devon wants to be the ghost of Elvis....how on earth do I do that in the few hours I have tonight?

I can't sew very well, & don't have a sewing machine either.

One white bedsheet, one pair of scissors, cut two holes you have one ghost!

Get a bed sheet cut some holes in it and chuck it over her head. Get a sign and write in permanent marker "Ghost of Elvis"
