Steph101
Does anyone know of any good chicken days out for the family? We've been to the Wernlas Collection in Craven Arms, and I know about the Domestic Fowl Trust in Honeybourne, Evesham... Does anyoine know of any more....? Steph101
Oh, I forgot about that one... I've been there a couple of times, but it's been a few years since I was there last. BC (before chickens) so I obviously wasn't paying attention to them in the same way as I would now... can't drive past a farm these days, or flick past an advert on TV with chickens on! Scramble
How about Chirk castle? It's a lovely castle and grounds and there are chiceknes running around the picnic area They get let out of their little houses and are allowed to run around where ever. There's horseys too. Or Tatton Farm by tatton park, but you can feed the chickens! I love it there they have pekins arauanas and well, just loads of different breeds and pigs and goats, which you can also feed I don't no if they're too far though , I'm not good with maps! I know what you mean - we can spot a chicken a mile off in this household!!!! We can be driving along and all shout together - "CHICKENS"!!!!!!! Has anyone else noticed how many adverts seem to have chickens on them lately? Louise
Valkyrie
Would that be Stourbridge in the west country? There is the Devonshire Traditional Breed Centre. Or in the Cotswolds the Rare Breeds Survival Trust has this link: http://www.rbst.org.uk/approved-farmparks/main so you can click anywhere you want to go. I didn't know there was a Stourbridge in the West Country? No, we're in the West Midlands. But we're planning a camping trip to Devon this year, so maybe we could go there at the same time. Thanks!
