Lewis
I don't think it should be banned no, maybe limited or restricted some how, but otherwise people will find a way to smuggle it in, or drink it before they go in. Did you have a New Years resolution? Did you keep it?
Chickvic
Natural - blonde and weirdly wavy! I tie it up for work and then it tends to lie a bit flatter Is your hair straight, wavy or curly?
Lewis
Straight But the one hair dresser did try to straighten it once I was like, why? "It looks better" Have you ever died your hair a really wierd colour? We all sprayed ours red for red nose day
Looney
I dyed mine navy blue. Just the lower layers so that the tips showed through under the rest of my hair Have you ever had a really bad haircut?
theherd123
Nothing too drastic but sometimes I wish I had never been to the hairdressers as im sure a brief fling with the lawnmower would have looked better on occasions! Lawnmowers - Flymo or petrol?
Lewis
Petrol Although the lawn mower is ever when it took a chunk out of my finger with the starting cord thing I want a sit on mower, or even better, a sheep Wash up or dishwasher?
Valkyrie
Both - mainly because there are so many things that can't go in there (or not enough room). Rubber gloves or handcream?
bigmommasally
Both - mainly because there are so many things that can't go in there (or not enough room). - Same here! And Both to Rubber Gloves and Hand Cream! Put hand cream on and then the rubber gloves and it absorbs fantastically! Do you Shave; Wax; Epilator; or go Au Naturale on your legs?
Valkyrie
Well I used to shave under arms and legs. I also tweezered the same - funny how it ceases to make your eyes water with use! Sometimes waxed, but didn't like the residue. Nowadays I only do it when going out. I don't seem to have the amount of hair that I used to have. Mind you, middle age seems to make up for it in other places! And changing the subject completely - I love stargazing, especially watching meteors. Would you like to go to space (happy birthday moon landing) just to see the earth from a different angle?
Chickvic
Hmmm - no won't get on a plane Although filmed from space it looks absolutely magnificent. Did you ever wish on a star and it came true?
Valkyrie
Sort of, I wished on a star - turned out to be Venus in the evening sky. A school trip to Stratford on Avon and on the return journey we were told that the coach wasn't going to stop - and I needed the loo sooo very badly - then we stopped and several of us ran for the loos! Venus seems to work for me a couple of times. I met up with my Aussie friend and my dad was cured from his cancer. Probably coincidence, but I thought I'd better not use up all my wishes. Then I thought I'd better thank Venus in case. Do you believe in any afterlife of sorts (I rather fancy Valhalla - all those vikings phoowarr). Space Chick
I definitely believe in the afterlife. Do you believe in God?
theherd123
Yes. I'm a believer Tea - hot or iced?
Space Chick
Has to be hot Standard tea, Earl Grey, Fruit Tea or some other tea?
Looney
Normal tea in the mornings, sometimes a cup of Earl Grey if I remember I have some in the cupboard Then either decaf tea or herbal tea in the afternoons. Something like ginger or peppermint. I try to avoid caffeine in the afternoons as I am a bad sleeper. Are you a sound sleeper or a light sleeper?
Space Chick
I sleep well, and also sometimes walk and talk in my sleep Do you walk and talk in your sleep?
Valkyrie
I used to when I lived at home. I apparently carried on an argument with my brother and woke my parents up - my lil bro was still sound asleep downstairs! Also my mum pounced on me and asked if I was OK one time - I was going to get a drink of water and she said I already got one a few minutes before!!! I don't think I've done it since apart from yell "fire" and jumping out of bed - or yelling family names, but not sleepwalking any more. What's the earliest you've woken up and can't get back to sleep again this year (3.30 for me - it was a long day).
bigmommasally
My friend at work eats in her sleep - plays havoc with her weight watchers diets I have had one night where I thought I'd go to bed early at 10pm, slept till 2.20am then woke feeling like it was morning! Fat lot of good it was me having an early night. Ended up getting up at 3am because I was disturbing OH. Luckily it was the weekend so I didn't have to get through a work day! What are you like when you decorate a room? Do you get every thing done and finished or is there always finishing touches that you never quite get round to? - Guess you can tell from the question what I'm like
clootie
Finishing touches? I've still got big squares of paint on the walls in the kitchen of sample colours from months ago. I haven't even started yet !! If you could have one amazing talent/attribute, what would it be?
Looney
The ability to say the right thing at the right time! I'm a bit fed up today, had a rough day at work and a lot on my mind What is your favourite way of relieving stress / cheering yourself up?
Valkyrie
Finishing something instead of dabbling here there and everywhere and in the end nothing gets done! (By the way our bathrooms were done over a year ago and I still haven't painted them yet ) If you were able to go back to school/college would you study different subjects?
Valkyrie
Oops sorry - simultaneous replies! So to answer your question - eating and have a bath. My question as before!
theherd123
If you were able to go back to school/college would you study different subjects? Yes I would. I wouldn't bother with French or history and I would have taken needlecraft and woodwork (as they were known then) In modern day GCSEs I would have done PE! Did you go to university? If so what did you study?
Looney
Yes. I studied French and Spanish. 4 year course including a year abroad. Are you a starter or a pudding person (or both?)!
Helly Welly
Definitely pudding, i've been known to have a small main to make roon for the pud. Best bit of any meal as far as i'm concerned. Last week, on holiday at Center Parcs, i had a gorgeous Black Forest Gateau. Do you feel younger than you are? I definitely do.
