Fizzle Knit
Homemade soup, with kidney beans, lentils, veg and spices. Your lunch sounded yummy. What's the worst job you've ever done?
bigmommasally
Shelf stacking on the twilight shift at Asda - absolutely hated it! Bacon, eggs, saute potatoes, baked beans and toast followed by low fat yogurt What will you eat tonight? - Good job the yogurt was low fat Plum! Plum has led to me having a serious fabric addiction (she introduced me to Patchwork). Today I spent another £28 on fabric that I don't really need, I have no firm idea of what I will make with it but I just had to have it. What serious addiction do you have? I would like to meet Albert Einstein because I think he was such a cutie and so clever - hope it would rub off on me! Who was your idol in your teens? Lovely dream to have Koojie. If you had a smallholding what would you stock it with?
Valkyrie
The last one I had was OH wouldn't mow the lawn - very frustrating. Most of my dreams tend to be winding me up in one way or another. No wonder I get up feeling exhausted! I dream in fabulous technicolour - do you know if yours are in colour?
fluffyknickers
Hmm thats tough as I have two, one is Shawshank Redemption because it is thought provoking, happy and sad and beautifully filmed and put together and the other is My Fair Lady - the singing, dancing, costumes, colour and most of all I love the story. Talking of Shawshank Redemption and prison - one of my worst fears is being put in prison for something you didnt do - whats your worst fear (not phobia)? bigmommasally
Hard one.... I like having the royal family there and really admire the Queen. I'm sure they generate alot of income for the country but not sure that I think they are "value for money". If one of your off-spring dated one the the young royals - how would you feel? Chickvic
Embarrassed! They probably wouldn't understand my broad Brummie accent! Who is your favourite Royal?
Space Chick
Probably Princess Anne, as she seems quite grounded and has appeared to bring up sensible kids. Would you rescue a chicken you thought was in danger even if it would technically be stealing?

bigmommasally
Yes 2, Collar bone as a child and my wrist as an adult when I tried ice skating for the first and last time Have you had a sporting accident?
Valkyrie
Fell off a horse while it was racing another horse - but I wasn't racing I was hanging on round it's neck for grim death! I then landed in a cow pat and then got dragged along the ground in even more cow pats - my foot was stuck in a stirrup. Not sport for me, but the bloke thought it was a jolly good one. Words cannot express what I would have loved to have said afterwards. Fortunately only my pride was hurt while my derriere was a little bruised. Can you ride and if so how many times have you fallen off?
Olly
I had lessons some years ago, it was something I'd always wanted to learn but my parents couldn't afford it when I was a child. It was ok while I had 1:1 lessons but then they said I should join a class and learn to jump, and I hated that. I fell off three times, and the last time I remember thinking 'this isn't fun any more ... and I'm PAYING for this!' So I hung up my riding hat! Is there something you really wanted to do as a child but couldn't (or weren't allowed to!) and have you done it or do you think you ever will? Valkyrie
That would have been the horse riding. I started learning when I started work - like you my parents couldn't afford it. I started off in stables at Englefield Green and we went out 1-1 in Windsor Great Park. Nice setting - except the horse bolted luckily it was uphill and I brought it under control. Never managed to get a horse to gallop though - they just trotted faster. It wasn't until DD wanted to ride that I thought I'd have another go just up the road at Wellington. I liked it there and I did gallop - thrilling. But then I changed to a beautiful Apaloosa (spotty botty) and he was like a slippery barrel - I fell off. Never wanted to jump and they didn't force us to either, thankfully. But when I fell off the last time I thought how lucky I didn't break anything because of all the children's activities would have to go on hold until broken bones mended. In short I realised I was a mere mortal! The only other thing that I wasn't allowed to do was when mum went out to the shops briefly. "I'm locking up while you play in the garden because I don't want you getting water for mud pies." Well, she left the little kitchen window open and I climbed up, opened the big window and filled a bucket full of water and when she came home I was covered in mud - I was about 9 then. But she wasn't too cross - she realised that if I got in easily, then so could a burglar. Have you ever been a bit of a daredevil?
