clootie
Well, here was I, looking forward to a day in town shopping with DD as DS is starting his voluntary work for summer hols today. Can someone PLEASE explain to me why people are soooooo rude? They stop in front of you and refuse to budge and after a number of polite excuse me's, they tut and roll their eyes as though it's me who's at fault. They refuse to hold a door for you and let it go in your face, and when you hold the door for them, they march on through without even a nod of acknowledgement. They push past you to get to the queue you are heading for in M&S using elbows, trolleys or baskets to make sure they beat you to it. I could not get away from a couple today in Boots. I went down every aisle to try to escape from them but no, there they were at the end of it. My DD was laughing at this point because by now, something had happened in every shop we had been in. Am I a magnet for these people or do I have a low tolerance level? I'm a pretty laid back kinda gal but today the red mist was desending and it took a lot of deep breathing to get over it so as not to let it spoil the day. And another thing, credit crunch? What credit crunch?

Happy-Mama
lol, I always seem to get banged into when shopping (I think it's cause I am little) and often find people with prams/buggies are the worst for getting backs of ankles etc... I tried steering the pram round mothercare, I think I need more lessons OH did a really good job though, so maybe for everyone elses sake it will be his job
