 Enjoy your hols girls. I finished work at school 10 days ago - and boys have just finished today. Just need a bit more in the way of dry weather and the fun can begin BIG TIME.

From my perspective - :D no more uniform to iron

:D no more packed lunches to make every evening

:D no more shouting "hurry up" in the morning

:D no more school runs in the rain

:D no more fights about homework to be done

All the above and I get to enjoy time with my boys - although the novelty will wear off at some point.

Happy summer hols 8)

From a different perspective!

No more school traffic to fight with every morning on the way to work!! :D

No more listening to the neighbours constantly shouting at their kids to get out of bed or they will be late for school each morning!! :D

Its alright for some!

We've still got another 3 days and loads of work and we have huge amounts of summer work ... like thats going to be done

This afternoon in Physics we had to do exam questions, so all went to the toilet (with a stop off at the chicks and we stayed there for about an hour  )

We had to answer general knowledge questions in Maths so we could watch a video next lesson, bearing in mind were 17 ... The Lion King  (but we were all singing it for the rest of the lesson!)

... in Chemistry we want to watch Flubber, because its kind of related.

Yay summer! :D Although I'm in year 11 and have already had 3 weeks off, so had technically already had a third of my summer holiday!

Well done for your test Laura! Good luck for the practical!! :D

My three have got another week before they break up (ED breaks up next Thursday at 12pm! and the other two on Friday at the usual time). I'm in two minds about holidays. Its great not having to get up, do the sandwiches etc etc, but after a while, I find I just need some time without the kids.

But then again, in a few years they will all be off out with their mates all the time and then I'll be saying I wish they were at home more

ps The Lion Kind is an excellent film and I agree you are never too old to enjoy it :D

My two break up officially on Wednesday. This week is Activities Week. DS is off to Paris with Year 9 tomorrow and DD is playing golf for three days. She is the only girl out of sixteen students so is a little nervous. However, she tells me that the coolest teachers are with her so she is happy about that.

I love the holidays. Even on the days that I work, the mornings are so relaxing with teenagers still abed!
