WarrensWorld
I woke up this morning and this was/is winging around my brain. 'Members - Sound Of The Suburbs'. I haven't heard it for years, so I went to YouTube and found it. here:- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pc6hbiNVfbw It's just made things worse,... Anyone else stuck with a song in the head........... jlo
Not recently but I know what you mean. Sadly, it used to be things like Fireman Sam and Postman Pat! Chelsea Dagger by The Fratellis sometimes sticks!
bluekarin
I had Lady Gaga Paparazzi in my head for about 2 weeks Trouble is, I now like it I think the worse time is when you are going to bed and the song goes over and over in your head. And if I don't know a word I get up to a point and then back to the beginning, only for it to repeat ad infinitum
Guest
They are called "earworms" linky Of course this was aptly described in the Spitting Image classic "The Chicken song" "and though you hate this song you'll be humming it for weeks" (a classic but to me the other side has proved to stick more in my head!) Valkyrie
I haven't been too bad lately until last week on the looney thread I have become Koojie Woojie - and all I could hear was the Andrews Sisters doing Boogey woogey bugle boy from company B, but with Koojie Woojie instead. Drove me nuts - now I've changed the signature to it and I am trying hard not to look! Thanks guys!

Lewis
I always have really random songs in my head The best one is Suddenly Seymour from Little Shop Of Horrors because you have to scream it really loud When we did Iolanthe, the school opera (we're !) we all changed the words ( to Stripping Hither, Thy Bride to Thai Bride ) and were singing them all week, the rest of the school were fed up of that
Alis girls
When I read this thread Kylie Monogues "cant get you outta my head" came into my head. I also have La Roux's "bullet proof" - the first line I sing to annoy the kids. And Tinchey Stryders No 1. I love annoying the kids as they get really cross when i kill a song
Alis girls
No Scrambled - thanks for that but kids wouldnt agree. i deiberately sing along and when i drop ES at school he switches radio off to stop me singing out of the window. I love pop music and the mind wants to dance the night away - body gave up long ago I occasionally amaze ES mates when one asks whose singing something and I answer before son gets a word in Glad your mum sings a long too. I think an Omlet karoke is in hand mods. I can remember my mum in the 70's saying when Top of the Pops came on " is this a man or woman?" and cringeing Yup definately a touch of my mum in me somewhere
WarrensWorld
Not really an ear worm, but for some strange reason the music from Jacques Tatis film 'Monsieur Hulot's Holiday' just pops into my head and then pops out again. The last time I saw the film was about 1970,. I haven't a clue what the name of the music is. Weird.

My mum sings to the radio in the car, she also dances ... I swear she's even more embarrassing when I've got friends in the car Scrambled - I am afraid that you will find it is the law that parents must embarrass their children and it is particularly important to do this when offsprings friends are in close proximity! I visiibly see my DD cringing when The Pretender comes on and I turn it up to full volume.
