Does anybody else ever feel.....Part # 6

Recommended Posts

Riight JJ, and anybody else that is lurking .. I'm off to bed now. Night xx

PS, I just thought, do any of the Mods moderate this thread?! 'Cos it might take them a while

 Big Teabag is watching you!

Love this topic, it's a pleasure to read (and is hopefully self regulated anyway, you're such a great bunch of crazy peeps).

I'd usually be on the late shift, but went to bed before all the Scwambley/Scwambled peeps as I'm working long shifts.

Of course, I look here to ensure that Mark's topic is still running!

'Morning all, happy Monday! :D

Welcome Clootie :D

So, official members of the good guys are our founder Josh, me, Laura, Em, Clootie, and all our fabulous animals.

Hmmn, I reckon its looking a bit lonely in that secret bunker with only Darth Freda and JJ

By the way JJ - They say that talking to yourself is the first sign of madness. I asked my mother once when I was about your age what the second sign of madness was, she told me "answering yourself", so it would appear that you went stark raving mad on Part 4 or 5

Btw, I 'm not answering myself I'm starting a completely different thing

Do you know that I never get told anything?

The last time was when sister's bf was coming over for 11:00 and I didn't know and was still in bed at 10:45 until she started screaming at me.

I have now found out that we're going to the Lake District tomorrow

Only for 2 days though...so I'll be back on wednesday..but still, it's the principle of the thing.:lol:

Ooh poor Debs. At least you are home now. Nighty night. We went to Alresford today (pronounces alls ford or even orls ford) where the watercress beds are - it's a nice little market town, not too big, although we can see the signs of modernity creeping in and taking over. There's still a hardware shop that is rather old fashioned. Te$co's has a small shop there now. :( The nice little deli closed down a few months ago, but it is still nice for a walk along the river. We saw lots of cygnets and 3 pairs of swans on the water - another 2 took to the air before we got there. We also saw a baby moorhen - would you believe in a nest halfway up a tree!!??? We could hear it and saw the mum, but when she climbed up the ivy to a branch hanging over the water - at least 3ft clear - we were rather gobsmacked! There was only one baby, so perhaps mum decided to move the youngster to a safe point out of reach of predators. She gave the baby a cookie (kidding, something tasty moorhen fashion) and they both climbed down and went off for a little swim. Ahhhhh cute little black pompom.

We had lunch in a little tea room - watercress soup and watercress scones (naturally  ). Oh and mumsie came too. Then home and we shot off to Reading to take my sewing machine in for repairs - so much easier than going to New Haw. I took my quilt to show what the machine was up to, so hopefully I will get to finish 2 more quilts before Christmas.

Then we had dinner and watched Iron Man. I did think of Fred regarding his world domination bid, and I think the rest of the world should recruit the man in the red shiny suit.

Anyhow, I am shortly off to bed too. I saw you on the word association thread :shameonu: naughty girls. And yes I talk to myself and answer myself too - I don't care, I'm not proud! Just bonkers!
