Martin B
Some of you already know that a young couple from Solihull are coming to look at the eglus today which is pretty cool. However I'm really really nervous that I'll forget something important, not be able to answer their questions, the chickens will peck them, I'll forget to give them a box of eggs, and overall out them off chickens forever. The garden is really boggy, because we've had really bad rain overnight, and the wind has knocked bits over, the netting looks straggled and the bark area is all dug up. I'll let you know how it goes, Martin
Mrs Frugal
Martin, you will be TERRIFIC ! No doubt about it! If anyone can give them the feeling that chicken keeping is fun and rewarding, it's you! Have a great time, enjoy the visit and let us all know how it went. I've done it twice now and was so nervous but enjoyed it and I don't think I put either of them off!

Nicola H
Hope it all goes OK for you Martin, I was very nervous when some people viewed my Eglu but once you get talking about chickens your nerves will disappear honest ........Good luck.... Sheilaz
Martin, I felt just the same before my first visitors. Just be yourself, and remember all you have to do is talk about one of your favourite subjects. (Was going to say the favourite, but wasn't sure where that left Villa ) In fact, you don't need to say much, the chickens will soon take over. Then, all you need do is ask any questions, and you'll def. know the answers. Let your natural enthusiasm rub off on them, and they'll be sure to enjoy their viewing and feel positive about Eglus and hens, whether or not they do take the plunge. Enjoy the opportunity, Martin, hope it goes well!
Martin B
I think Villa would come first Sheila! It's been and gone now, was about 40minutes but it seemed really quick. They seemed really positive about the eglu and they are thinking of gettting one in January! Although I was nervous when the doorbell rang, I soon was off on one all about eglus and chickens, and they thought they were cute, even though covered in mud. I also noticed today that Carly has one less toe than she should have. I've never picked up on this before, and I'd hate to think she lost it whilst with me. Thumbs up.
