We saw a fair amount of sun yesterday and I just managed to get a couple of loads of washing dry.

 

It absolutely bounced down in the early evening though The sky was amazing as it cleared up with a really strong double rainbow and all sorts of colours and shapes of clouds.

Well it's been pretty disgusting here since the start of August. I can't think of a day when it hasn't poured. We are having a very short interlude now Can't cut the grass, marshy, boggy everywhere, I fear we're all about to dissolve

The weekend was a mixture of showers & sunshine- yesterday being the better of the two.

 

Today has begun drizzly but the forecast is for drier weather for the next few days and even the suggestion of prolonged, warm sunshine!

Bits of blue sky and the odd bit of sunshine. Seems a long time since I saw any.

EVERYBODY please keep fingers crossed for a dry day for our county show on Thursday.

Yes, not bad weekend here either. Today started with very fine rain, but it wasn't much and not enough to wet the ground - the drops showed on the car rooves and the glass on the greenhouse, but that was it. It's still grey and dull, but very warm and humid.

We had another tiny spot of rain or two then a short while ago the sun tried to come out and disappeared again. It's quite dark now and the chickens were hankering for their tea much earlier. Still quite warm.

We've hit the 27degrees at the front of the house, but the wind has certainly picked up. Apart from hanging out washing I have tried to stay indoors as it's sooooo hot out there.

Well over the last few days we have had a mixture of weather from being dry to being wet.

Today Tuesday 8 September it started overcast then by mid morning sunshine and 21 degrees but by 5 pm we have rain and strong winds.

The forecast for tomorrow is sunshine will believe that when it happens!!!

Still vile here, woke up at 3am to the sound of rain pouring down and it's rained pretty well ever since.

Absolutely glorious..........
