A beautiful frosty morning - pity we don't have a mulberry bush - it would have been perfect! Last time I looked at the thermo it was on 5 degrees around elevensies. I think it felt warmer than the other frosty day - probably because of the wind chill before. But it has now clouded over - and did so very quickly. I suppose the rain is on it's way again.

Oh poo!

Edited to say it's heeeerrrrrre!

Pity really - the village has it's Christmas Cracker event this evening, Santa on his sleigh, funfair, shops all doing things (DD helping at the charity shop), hog roasty things. And the roads are closed for the event so that people can meander at a leisurely pace. Typical evening - I remember it being dry just the once - it always rains for the occasion.

Yesterday was a lovely morning - we went walking around Alresford, but by lunchtime the clouds gathered and rain again. It was still wet this morning, but cleared up nicely. OH was pottering in the greenhouse and tipping all the old compost on the garden for the girls to rake through and I cleaned the cube - while I could! By the time I did the girls tea - and because someone was whingeing for half an hour, I did it earlier just after 3 today. But she must have known the rain was coming - no sooner had I opened the door with their food - the heavens opened again! I didn't even see the cloud until I went outside. Cleared up briefly, but it has rained after dark.

don't get your hopes up.... i did see blue sky yesterday but was in the car on the motorway so didn't get to appreciate it. Its still grey and wet here and looks like i will have to go to the shop in the rain...

I'm in meetings all day wednesday, thursday and friday so it will be bright sunshine then...
