The Dogmother
Blumming cold here and a thick frost this morning, which was a surprise as it was 4deg and pouring with rain when i went to bed last night.
Groovychook
Poured with rain last night but sunshine & quite chilly today.
chickencam
I wasn't expecting a frost this morning either I put the cover over the car windscreen at 10.30pm last night and it was drizzling still, by this morning it had fused to the screen and the rest of the car was frozen solid too. It is worse when the rain freezes that's when you et black ice
chelsea
Absolutely beautiful here - blue sky, cold and sunny, my favourite weather.
Valkyrie
Took some lovely pics of feathery car windows this morning, but it felt much warmer so I was surprised to see the state of the car. It has been lovely but the wind is picking up ang getting colder - also clouds are gathering and moving fairly fast.
Valkyrie
A couple of flurries this afternoon - turned bitterly cold. Cloudy at the moment but otherwise dry - er the lights keep going funny though.
BeckyBoo
Well there's a howling wind outside now, our lights keep flickering here too so I've already got a candle on the go just in case The snow is quite light but it's already a fairly good layer on the ground, looks like I'll have three exited children in the morning - thank goodness I'm on leave! Valkyrie
DS just got home - the snow's reached us, so he did the right thing - didn't want to miss work tomorrow as he could have been stranded near Southampton! Girls well covered this evening.
The Dogmother
very, very cold here last night and the wind was howling too, no snow though until 7am today. Loads in Radnage, Bucks, but none in Winfrith in Dorset, where boss is for the day.
Valkyrie
About 1.5 inches - according to DD it's a foot deep! Very quiet and still here, wind is still quite breezy and blowing the snow off the branches. Dark cloud has now gone - we escaped with just a leeeeetle sprinkling of the dotty bits and are back to pinky cream and grey clouds. Looks like it could empty a bit more on us though. Groovychook
Blimey it's cold! I think the frost is going to stay with us all day- it's bright and sunny and there are still no signs of snow... I hope it stays like this- although I love snow, I hate it when it's thawing. Think I'd rather that the ground had a chance to dry out first! chickencam
Very cold here, but at least it was dry when it froze last night so less ice everywhere and didn't have to de ice the car because the screen was covered and the rest was dry 11 degrees in my bedroom this morning that's way too cold have to admit to turing the oven on to warm the kitchen this morning we have no heating in there andit was perishing A few small flurries of snow but nothing more
Mrs Webmuppet
We've got about 4 inches of snow. School is shut and the roads are treacherous. I went into work for a few hours then Mr W went into work and now i'm back home with LMW and the Omlet forum (of course)
