Does anybody ever feel ..... Part # 8

Recommended Posts

It was called "The Shape of Things" by Neil Labute. It was about a quiet museum assistant who meets an artist and how their relationship takes a dramatic twist.

My friend Paul, played the lead Adam, my other friend Jamie (who interestingly is Pauls brother) played Phillip who was Adams best friend. The play was directed by Pauls husband Roger, so no keeping it in the family :lol:

It was very egdy for our local amateur theatre, as most of the people who buy tickets are pensioners. In fact a few left at the interval unable to cope with the bad language and naughty scenes!!

Although I really didn't need to see Paul half naked :talk2hand: We've been friends for over 20 years (he's been friends with Phil for over 30 years - long story for another time)

But was an excellent evening out  and if you get a chance to see it, I'd strongly recommend it :D

Sounds good Debs, like the Time Travelers Wife...the book though, not the film so much.

wow, he has been a friend for a long time...my oldest friend I've known probably....9 years? 7 years....I can't remember

Glad you had fun :D

And you've joined us late-nighters

I've known one of my friends since we were 2 days old  and another since 2 hours old  - all born at th same hospital.

The 2 days one we kept in contact since we were born and I spoke to her tonight,

and the other who was born on the same day as me, we went to primary school together and now are at school together in the same class :)

Still pondering names  Blondey may stay as Blondey, or she could become Purkinje and the new Buff rock be Nugget - all very confusing swapping chickens but keeping the same names
