Omlet 'notify e mails'

Mine were okay, when I had them... but I just got so many! I didn't just get one e-mail per topic that had a reply, I got an e-mail per post to a topic...it drove me insane after a while...especially if I went on holiday and came back to 200 or so e-mails. It completely clogged up my inbox so in the end I had to cancel them.

The notification e-mails are being sent (we promise!), but they do seem particularly susceptible to getting intercepted by spam filters, both locally in e-mail software and at internet service providers. (AOL seems particularly keen on marking our stuff as spam and deleting it!)

 

If you aren't getting notifications, or they're going straight to your 'spam' or 'junk' folder, it may be worth trying some of the following:

 

Add 'info@omlet.co.uk' and 'barbara@omlet.co.uk' to the 'whitelist' of addresses allowed to send e-mail to your account. Instructions for whitelisting addresses in Yahoo, Hotmail/MSN, AOL and Outlook can be found here: http://www.emailtools.co.uk/tips/whitelisting.htm

 

Add 'info@omlet.co.uk' and 'barbara@omlet.co.uk' to your e-mail address book (In many e-mail clients this will automatically whitelist those addresses.)

 

You may also have to whitelist those addresses in any internet security software you are running, such as Norton 360 or AVG.
