Couldn't fit all the children on the back seat of the car so had to have a people carrier; family tickets to anything are usually for 2 adults, 2 children; packets of anything are usually in 4s; ferry cabins are for 4 etc etc Definitely the more the merrier though Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

We might have to look at getting bigger tent too. Sorry! It's not as bad as it sounds! I love being 5 - it just seems the right number for us! We had a galaxy to start with - it was ancient but served it's purpose. Once we got into camping we got a newer model Renault Espace - purely because I got a good deal on it on ebay! But when it was written off, I couldn't consider anything else - a securicor van drove into it with my hubby and 3 boys inside. They were all completely unhurt but the car was a total write off. Don't get me wrong, kids are great, but I dont know how you make that commitment and sacrifice for such a huge chunk of your life!!! Purely because we've got an Astra at the moment and love it, will be quite sad if we have to change it. Also I liked the adverts for them with the 2 lads - overtired!
