Guest
James' friends dad was down at their school today when I picked him up and with the children he had been doing a piece of anamorphic art on the playground. They are studying street art so it was done in chalk. Looked like a nice pattern when I looked at it then he came over and got me to stand in the right place which turned it magically into a 3d cube. Lastly he got his daughter to stand on the top and James to stand in the foreground - the girl is at least 8 inches taller than James - it was more impressive when they did it the other way round but anyway.... BeckyBoo
Wow! When I see stuff like that (there's that amazing guy who's stuff goes round the internet regularly) I can never ever see it as just a chalk drawing - they're always so 3D I can't see the flat picture! It's very clever BeckyBoo
Olly
Wow! I find it really hard NOT to see the cube ... that's amazing.

Lewis
Very clever One of the hotels in Vegas has a funny floor that messes with your eyes a bit like this and it makes it look twice as big as it actually is.
chick wiggle
Wow, that is fantastic, i love it. So clever. I like those pictures that you have to stare at to see the picture, cant remember what they're called?

bluekarin
Wow, that is fantastic, i love it. So clever. I like those pictures that you have to stare at to see the picture, cant remember what they're called? Magic eye I think they are called. I like them too, especially when your eyes suddenly see the picture and you can blink and almost look around the picture. The drawing of the cube is really good and it makes the girl look tiny. Cinnamon
Love it. I have posted pictures of the amazing street art like this several times on the forum - I find it fascinating & jst breathtaking Edgar Mueller is a fave, & also a chap called Julian Beever who had a show on about his work each week, a little while ago. I think this is my favourite. How wonderful that this chap could do this for the children - they must have been gobsmacked!
henriette
Fantastic! I do so admire people who can do art of any description but the cube is really great. There is just so much talent out there.
