Patricia W
Well, I suppose I must be brave and confess. My chicken maths has let me down! I went to collect 3 gold laced and/or splash/ chamois/frizzle Polands on Saturday. What did I come home with?? Yes, you're right - six... well, it was rude not to...... how could I break them up? And reject one from another... They are 14/15 weeks and supposed to be all girls. There is one splash - well she is almost pure white - Madonna. One black with gold lace frizzle - Shirley( Bassey), one fiesty chamoise frizzle Tina (Turner) and two more chamois frizzles and one smooth chamois frizzle as yet unnamed. The plan was to have integrated the other 2 in the cube with the original 3 but we are still getting there. Thankfully, they are still small enough to fit comfortably in the spare eglu and I have a run extension on it. Tina is very confident and been standing up to Phillipa all day - pecking at each other through the bars so I can see fun times ahead. I'll put pics up shortly. Griffin
Brilliant And because they're Polands they're only small and by my reckoning it's about four Polands to one large fowl or hybrid lady, therefore six equates to just buying one and a half chickens which is very good going
Patricia W
Exactly! So lots of room for more... Actually OH was not surprised, he always knew I couldn't count he said.. But then, he can't do chicken maths. Tricia

Space Chick
The logic all sounds good, and I too agree that once you get to a hybrid size its just 1 chicken
