Redwing
Just when the inccy had been put away for the winter what happens? Palmer07 in a particularly minx-ish mood emails me a link to ebay eggs for Frizzle Silkies Less than 24 hours later and I have a parcel of hatching eggs on my desk The eggs are in good condition despite Royal Mail's best football stylee efforts Hubby just rolled his eyes when I told him and asked 'do we need more chickens?' to which I replied 'does anyone NEED more chickens?' conversation over. Fingers crossed for chicks Edited October 31, 2009 by Guest
fluffyknickers
Oooh lovely - cant wait for pics. I am desperate to hatch some eggs but then woudl have to just give them all to someone as dont have space for any! Also, I would have to borrow an incubator etc! I would just love to see it all happening. x

The Dogmother
Way to go girl! Hubby just rolled his eyes when I told him and asked 'do we need more chickens?' to which I replied 'does anyone NEED more chickens?' conversation over. I can just see his little lip protruding all the way from here! The thing is, they see themselves moving further and further down the pecking order as we get more animals! Falkor
I didn`t push the button on Tasha's mouse to buy it now!!!! I simply supplied information. Little bro told me last night that Frazzles my Frizzle is a silkie cross. Good luck Tasha! (if the newborns are anything like Frazzles you are going to need it!) Hmm Em, equally you didn't prize the purse from my hands to make me buy Nyssa and Susan, but you do have a talent for "enabling" these things to happen (BTW - I am very glad that you are like that ) Good luck Tasha, I hope you get some chicks
Griffin
I'm struggling at the moment, haven't had the incubator running for the best part of ten weeks now and I'm suffering horrendous withdrawal symptoms I was browsing Ebay eggs last night, as you do, and if it wasn't for the fact some toe rag had fraudulently used my bank card then I think I would've succumbed to some Silkie eggs too Just waiting for my new card to arrive so I can change my Paypal details and then I miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight hatch a few. Good luck with yours

craftyhunnypie
Ha ha ha - I also don't take much persuading as regards hatching / buying chookies. Good job hubby is as bad! I was going to hatch some frizzles, but really want a couple of silkies. However, I can't find any silkies for sale. Can't wait to see your frizzle silkies. Somehow, I don't think we best ever meet up - we would be a terrible influence on each other. Emma.x

Cooks
We can turn it back into the eggy hatching thread... (even though we do appreciate Em) I am looking forward to seeing the lovely feathering to be honest as hubby is rather smitten with jantys Frizzle pekins and Blue bearded Silkies.
