dippy bird
I'm back!! They are all in really good condition! We(I) have named 2 of them - Elsie (Tanner) and Rita (Fairclough) - Elsie is really feisty, so it suits her so well! They only took a few minutes before they realised where their food and water was, and they all ate and drank pretty well.I had to nip out for half an hour so left them to it, got back, they have knocked their food everywhere , and had no idea that they had a lovely new home to go into, so me and my hubby have put them to bed. I have got a couple of piccys of them, that I will try and put on later. Still need to decide on names for the other 2 - one is quite bedraggeld looking.I have told my OH that he could name them, but he was going on about calling them boys names?? Clearly, that won't happen. I'm so glad we did this!!

Space Chick
It takes a few days for the smell to go Dippy Bird, just so you are prewarned. Just wait a few weeks though, my girls have been here 2 months and they have been proper chickens for a while now, the transformation in their personalities is unbelievable. They are now cuddly affectionate babies that love a fuss, and not the empty scared shells they were on the first couple of weeks. You will love seeing the progress
dippy bird
Well, folks, just nipped out to check on them, and 2 are on the roosting bars,1 in the nesting box and one on the floor - not bad for their first night me thinks. Plum
They look lovely bless them with their pale floppy combs.
Egluntyne
Mine are safely in their Eglu too. Like Dippy's hens, they are well feathered and a good weight. Only the pink floppy combs give the game away. One of my girls laid an egg in the carrying case on the way home. Have decided on an Irish theme....Oonagh, Grainne, Meadhbh and Aisling.
