Lesley
Location tonight (Ch 4 - 8pm) is another revisited to the camel people - they are the ones who looked at the farm we're living in now on the first programme, they turned it down as it was too run down and they needed to move their camels in straight away. They've revisited it once but this is new. Don't think they will show the farm again but it should be fun to watch them again.

Lesley
Yes, it's the run-down, manky, farm We'll be watching to see if it appears again - it's good to see how much it has changed. They are still local and we see Mr Fosset in the local shop occasionally.

Egluntyne
Just watched it. Crikey.....what a transformation you have made to the place in such a short time. It is almost unrecognisable.
Janty
Yes, it's the run-down, manky, farm They are still local and we see Mr Fosset in the local shop occasionally. Is Mr. Fossett as much of a pompous bottom as he comes across as?
Karen & co.
It was great to see where you started from, and how much you have achieved Karen x
Lesley
Sally - sorry, that's my fault! The land and outbuildings were the run-down part, the house was new build and not finished at the time. Janty - Mr Fosset is........Mr Fosset He's a bit of a character I suppose. He's part of the Fosset Circus family. Lewis - are you going to work with the camels? what fun!!!! I've not seen anything locally where the camels are racing. It was another of Ch4 's rip-off repeats. They had added another few minutes to the end and didn't class it as a repeat It was mostly a repeat of a repeat It was good to see the state that it was all in though - good to see how far we've come. We gave ourselves 5 years to sort it out and then another 3 years to get it as we really would like it so we're very pleased with what we've done in 3 years. (and we didn't pay the pie-in-the-sky figure being bandied about either - apart from the new house, the place was in too poor a condition to even start at that price!) (and the new house still needed plenty doing to it - the stairs make us laugh......they weren't the stairs that were in when we bought it! they were closed stairs and we had open tread, now changed to closed)
The Dogmother
I managed to miss it, despite your message blame it on the hoovering! I remember very well the day you moved in.. smouldering heaps of rubbish, discarded tyres and mattresses; looked like a fly-tipping site! And as for the knee-deep fossilised poo in the outbuildings...... Having seen the changes as you made them, I am never ceased to be amazed Lesley
craftyhunnypie
I watched it. I also thought Mr . Fossett was a pompous eccentric. Circus family eh? Well that explains a bit more why any normal person would keep camels. I wonder what other mad things people keep? I adored that house that Mr Fosset wouldn't even go in! It was so cozy looking & done out to my taste. Emma.x
ClaireG
We also watched and can't believe what you've managed to achieve in 3 years Lesley

Lewis
Lewis - are you going to work with the camels? what fun!!!! I've not seen anything locally where the camels are racing. Not yet, I asked could I go this summer (hopefully I'll be able to drive by then!) but if I'm trying for Animal Science I may not need to - would be good fun though I managed to find it on 4OD
Jules.
If you missed it it can be seen here http://www.channel4.com/programmes/4od except my eMac is so old it doesn't have the software needed to watch typical!!!
Space Chick
I caught it last night on the More4 repeat. What a fabulous farm you have there Lesley
Lesley
I could post photos that would change your mind - they didn't dare show any of the outbuildings - and the contents of the outbuildings! We're just about to have the 8th skip collected - and the 9th one left! (but that is what kept the price down )
