atsw
Lots of you have followed the progress of my chicks since they hatched at the end of June. This week, it's time for the 'spare' boys to take up residence with their new homes. We're keeping Liquorish and Snickers, Twix is going to live with a mixed flock at the other end of the village and Kit-Kat is going to a new home in Warwickshire. To mark the occasion, here are some final pictures of the group enjoying today's lovely Autumn Sunshine. It's been great fun raising them all, and it's been wonderful seeing them grow from chicks to chooks over the last four months. It will be sad to split up the group, but best for all the boys in the end. Next we can look forward to our first Pekin eggs early next year .
