Jules.
I'd better get a move on with my crafty swop- just needs a few bits of finishing off & then its done or should I say they're done- you didn't think that Alihodg would really make his own crafty swop now, did you? AMS
I thought that 15 December (Royal Mail's last posting date for standard parcels) was the date that we needed to send by, not the date we received our gift by

Couperwife
as long as they are there before Christmas morning, the idea with the 15th was that they would miss the Christmas postal rush. and in previous swaps, some people havent had their present on time, so its just an earlier deadline to sort of help (looks around anxiously, hoping she hasnt offended anyone ) still making mine ( that my swappery friend likes it ) cathy x

bluekarin
I should *fingerscrossed* finish mine tomorrow and then I'll post it off some when this week (not saying exact date so as to keep up the mystery. If I do say so myself, I am really pleased with how it is going. YD asked if I could make one for her, so it must be good. Especially if you like bits of paper taped onto a larger sheet Only joking, honest

Space Chick
It is a variation on one thing I have made for my crafty swap person, so if I posted it my swap person would know I am chuffed to bits as I am quite new to craft things, so I get all excited when things work

I believe everyone can craft - it's just finding the right craft that you can do & enjoy. Emma.x I agree, I wanted to be crafty for years. Tried all sorts and suddenly things start falling into place. I still try new things, some work, some don't, some I simply need to practice some more. I also think that these kind of swaps are a terrific incentive for people to try something new and I can't wait for mine to arrive as home made gifts are SO lovely I've been trying new things for this crafty swap too
