Ms Marple
So very sad. Came home to find my little adopted Silkie dead under a tree. She seemed fine this morning. She was about 1o months old and had never laid an egg. She and the little Crested Poland were inseparable so I am not sure how Jimi will be tomorrow. I was just starting to think that I had better move them into the garage until the weather eased. Whilst I have 10 other chickens, she was Jimi's soulmate. Do I need to find Jimi another little friend?

BeckyBoo
Oh that's sad, what a horrible thing to come home to. I'd see how Jimi gets on with the others now your silkie has gone, she might make new firends all by herself. Failing that the Buff Orpingtons should do the trick BeckyBoo
