Does anybody feel ..... Part # 12

Recommended Posts

Good morning all :D

Lewis the job sounds cool

Koojie, glad you did well at bowling (i am useless  )

Chicky, sorry to hear about your boiler. I have also had boiler problems this year, but British gas were fantastic :D

Yey snow JJ

Well, the water heater that Phil made yesterday has worked a treat, the girls water wasn't frozen today  He had left some "control water" in the run too, to see if that would freeze or whether the temperature was not cold enough (yes I know he is very very sad  ) and the "control water" had frozen, so now he is very very happy :P

Well I had a fantastic day yesterday, I spent a few hours with my godchildren having a mini Christmas and they opened their presents from me. It was sooo much fun as Izzy is nearly 3 and is so excited, although she insisted on opening her brothers presents too as and I quote "You see Aunty Deb, James is a baby and I am a big girl, so I will open the presents for him". She is unbelievably adorable.

I then went to my sisters, we were meant to have a football game but it was called off due to a frozen pitch, and so she asked if I could take her to Asda instead as she didn't have a Christmas delivery slot and she can't drive. I thought it would be dreadful, however we had a brilliant laugh. Other customers were all miserable pushing their trolleys, and we just accepted we were going to be hours and just laughed and laughed by being really silly in the aisles.

Then it was back to my friends house (with Phil this time, he'd got the train to meet me), spent a bit more time with Izzy and James, and then after they went to bed some other friends arrived and the 8 of us had a cocktail party, nibbles and played Family Fortunes. I was very good and only had 2 cocktails and then had orange juice. Although I think my friends thought I was drunk as I was in a very silly mood. I also cracked them up by giving an answer in family fortunes. The question was "If aliens landed in your street what would you do"... my answer was "Take them to my leader".... apparently scream, run, say hello were far more suitable responses  Got home at 1.30am and am shattered now.

However, no rest for the wicked, as I need to make Christmas dinner at tea time

Well done if you have survived reading this war and peace post.

Sounds like you had a lot of fun, Debsie :D x

What lovely clever OH Phil is too

Going out in just over an hour....off to give my friend her christmas present, have a sleepover and then we're going last minute shopping...her for her mum, me for my sister

I'm really pleased with what I got for my mum :D

I've ordered a calendar for her but it's one of the one's you can personalise so for each month there is a picture of the chickens 8)

And the picture was actually taken in that month...so January's I took a year ago and so on

I'm rather happy with it

Chichi has things too so it's just what to get for my sibling.

Did someone say Gerbils?

Oi right back at you Scwamble! Actually I thought Debs had learnt from the master!

Nice story Debs (oh it was on a Wiii thingy, not proper - and I only flicked my wrist much to everyone's disgust  ).

And from me:

Tipsy has laid a big brown egg with freckles! Erin went and found 2 in the nest box - the other was Squirt's and Apache wants to but keeps coming back up here when she hears the door go and frightened she might miss a treat! Piccies taken and hopefully I'll find some nice child to load them up for me.

Erin's party didn't go well, some other 16 year olds were invited and went crazy - Erin's lot kept trying to clear up the mess (no parents there) and she gave up when the host started being silly as well. In the end only one girl was trying in vain and she had water tipped over her head and her shoes thrown out of the window - couldn't find them till this morning. Erin thought about leaving, but the others had made huge snowball boulders and planted them in front of the gate and poured water over the hinges and latch of the gates and so frozen. She was so cross this morning and glad to be home. She also appreciates how stupid people can get when over indulging in the alcofrol department. Hopefully a lesson learned well.

Murray assembling a big jigsaw down the end of the garden and I'm having lunch (French Toast - yummmmmm).

I wondered why you called her a grannie!

Woo for Tipsy

Parentals and sisterling have just returned so I can finally go to friends house...I did call and tell her I would be late, I didn't just leave her waiting

Although I did wake up at 10:45 once when I said I'd be at hers for 10

Anyway...be seeing you on monday crazy peeps

Have a happy sunday x

Ahh...now I know things happen for a reason

I'd forgotten to write her christmas card and going to look out the window reminded me of it...since I'd left it there.

Oh dear

I have fun writing her christmas cards...I put Nadolig Llawen ( welsh for merry christmas) she still gets confused

She moved here from Southampton

Right...I'll stop talking to myself now

Helloooo!

oldlady.gif

I'm officially an old fogey then - thanks Debs.

Not necessarily, I watched a marvellous documentary about young grandmothers, some were under 30  I mean, I don't feel old enough to be a parent, let alone a Grandparent.

A woman at my old church was a Grandmother at 34!!! She had her daughter at 18, and her daughter became a mum at 16!!!! Scary!!

Awww diddums Scramble.1.gif

We dropped Ciaran off to work in Basingstoke - the queues were horrendous. Good job we weren't shopping, so they might have had traffic problems. But at least you'll be able to chat all night to your friend.

Ewww Debs. I don't think I would have had the patience to start a family at that age - I'm still not sure I really wanted to start one when I did either!

Farm was good :D

Loads has changed since we were there and we were walking round and doing the same to all the animals ... Awwww! Paddy ... Awwwww! Mini Kid (he's now huge).

We went to see Santa and our old boss spoke to us (quite a shock) remembered us, and was really nice everything :D

They're suffereing a bit because of the e-coli scare :( but still going well and getting more new buildings. Saw the hybrid's PP and they have some at £9.50 and marans for £12.50 (I think it was) so quite good :)

Lewis remembered how big the aylesburys were now!

The lane was really icy and my friend was driving (she passed a couple of years ago), we skidded a few times, once really bad when turning right but she controlled the car :)

Glad you had a good time at the farm Lewis :D I went to my parents yesterday and decorated the tree, it's a real 10fter and took me ages to do!! I then helped my Dad do some deliveries and set up a bar. I then slipped on some ice and went flying  and hurt my wrist so get let off bar duties.

:( Not good about your wrist!

Is it any better today?

I saw a spit of Nyssa today and couldn't for the life of me remember her breed  They were Mrs somethings Holiday Hens at the farm so no labels either ... just found it on Deb's website, Silver Spangled Appenzellar

Hi again. Sneaked in between Erin's session.

Poor Claire, hope that wrist isn't giving you too much trouble.

The farm sounded nice - much better than plucking turkeys anyway.

Debs - have you ever tried the Appenzeller cheese? It's quite yummy and no it isn't made by chickens.

Slept through a film earlier - I dozed off and woke up to a similar situation in the plot - it was a rubbish film so I said bet it's in the Rockies. Yep, Vancouver. And Murray dozed off too. I think it was originally a pilot sci-fi thing with the hope of a TV series to follow. Not if it was that boring - no action whatsoever!

So night night peeps.

*Knocks on door* ..

Am I allowed back in pleeeaase?:anxious: .

Of course you are, its fabulous to see you :D

Well its being snowing overnight here, so Phil couldn't get the car out of the road, so instead (being the committed employee that he is  ) he put on his wellies, packed a bag of clean clothes, wrapped up very warm and if doing the 3 mile trek down the mountain (well very large hill really  ) to the train station where hopefully the trains will be running to get him into work.

Me, if I wasn't on leave I would have stayed in bed

Hi Josh long time no see!

It's been raining here - just a few fine spots. Just shot into Basingstoke to get a present for my friend who's coming tomorrow. Same every year - she loves Clarins lotion for her hands but she can't afford to buy it - all available funds go towards paying the mortgage (her OH left her a couple of years ago and on Christmas Eve too  Never liked him). I haven't had a chance to go to town proper. It took less than 20 minutes - in out and back and 20 mins each way for the trip - no cars on the road yet - and hardly anybody in the shops. The gritters are out and now my car shouldn't ice over at all after having stuff chucked at it!

My two are still in bed. I would like to be there, but someone didn't turn off the alarm at 5 this morning. At least he didn't snore during the night otherwise I would have been a little bit cross.

Its getting slushy here now, so I am hoping that in a couple of hours it will be safe to get the car out

I really wanted to go to a few shops today, and have to get to my Godsons show (where he is singing, he's not even 2 yet!)

I haven't started packing for my holiday yet too, have some washing in as we speak. It is really not like me to not be organised
