rufusrooster
It looks like i have a leak water collecting under the r/h side poo tray, i noticed it a few days ago and again today when cleaning the trays, i can't see where its coming from but it doesnt look like its leaking inside onto the birds as there was no sign of water in the trays themselves, only under the right hand tray, i can only assume the water is not running away down the drainage channels, has anyone else had this before ? do i need to worry about it ? its not really a problem under the tray but its a bit annoying, after all they aren't cheap ! JamesAyres
Mine leaks underneath the right hand poo tray too. Only very small amounts, Its never caused me any problems other than when it froze and i couldnt get the poo tray out. Never done anything about, chickens arent getting wet so i put up with it. veggiemad
same here - although i put it down to my cube being on a very slight slope and water getting in that way- the girls are dry and again only a prob when it freezes and i cant get the tray out! Falkor
Me too...and it is the right poo tray. The chooks stay dry and it only causes me a problem when I want to empty the tray and the darn thing is frozen solid! It may well be down to my slab laying skills though
The Dogmother
Some people have had this problem, some of them just live with it, others contact Omlet. I hope that you get it sorted.
legend21
Mine too at the right hand tray, I was told that the cube had to be on perfectly level ground and I think mine might be of ever so slightly and that is what is causing it J

jess1merlin
Mine does the same thing, but it has not really caused any problems except when it freezes hard and then the tray is difficult if not impossible to pull out.

No poo tray moving here for all the time we had snow! I have never worried about the water under the poo tray as the girls are dry - however over the last 3-4 weeks my nesting box has been getting realling wet - now the snow has gone I need to investigate - I assume the cold may have distorted something and the cube now needs adjusting. The Dogmother
Tracy, I had a wee bit of wetness in the nestbox when it snowed, but I think that some snow and ice had wormed its way in around the pophole door as that's where it seemed to come from. No leaks there since then though.

Mine is really wet and not just when it was snow - I empty the nest box out and fill it with fresh clean stuff and by the next day it all looks wet again - up until this point the nesting box has been perfectly dry. In fact it may be more than 3-4 weeks - mid-Dec. I checked the rain channels were not blocked, etc when I intially found a leaf I hoped removing it would stopthe problem, but no joy. I think I need to get out there with a watering can and investigat more. Tracy
Valkyrie
Ours was the same - I wonder if they took turns to dry off in there.
