patsylabrador
I think I've done this right. These are my chickens, not great beauties but incredibly sweet natured and if you look carefully you will see we had sun for several minutes in a row! sadietoo
They are scrumptious...My Light Sussex, (well my shared Light Sussex cos I can't take any of the credit really) is absolutely gorgeous and has the most wonderful gentle temperament. She does honk like a goose though and she is very very chatty and gives me a running commentary on everything she is doing....I hope the neighbours appreciate this when the sun shines again and we are all out in the garden together
patsylabrador
I apologise for being so rude and thought I'd show you this pic of Ariadne, who thinks she's a parrot, with my daughter. Those are duvets, they keep them quiet and warm ( the chickens and daughter) and are seemingly nice to snuggle in during the day. They do make a loud honking noise, usually around 10am and for no reason I can see.
beulah59
Yup, one of mine honks, too ... but they also cluck so contentedly when they're out and about in the garden, it's wonderful.
