Does anybody ever feel.......Part # 13.

Recommended Posts

Here's a little thought for you ...... I think we have finally decided to fence an open paddock we have (split it into 2 perhaps) and throw in some animals but the question to you is, what shall I consider putting in my paddock or should I rent it out?

Answers on a postcard. :D

 I didn't know you had a paddock - photos *cough*

How big is it?

If it were mine I'd get a little field shelter with a couple of rare breed sheep/goats - put them to tupp so you get a couple of lambs/kids to sell / eat and then some milk (for cheese? :eh:) :D .

Then I'd have a little shed for dinner chickens + laying hens to sell the eggs ... then in July get some turkeys ready for christmas!

Alpaca's would be 8) but you could do with a couple and they're really expensive  ... but if you could breed those you'd be rich!

Morning all. I'm exhausted from all the country dancing, caber tossing, haggis eating and malt drinking from last night. I've got no puff left for my early morning bagpipe blowing which is a shame as my neighbours have grown to expect it at 6am every morning!

You have to be able to make a little bit of money / more liklely produce, out of it - I really want a bit of land when I'm older to do this, don't know if I'll have enough money/time!

Mother said they'll get a house with a bit of land when they retire and I can go and 'do' the dinner chickens and the lambing :D

You could always rent out half to someone so they get to keep a couple of bits on it.

One thing I'd avoid is pigs because they'd wreck it ... and I don't eat pork  Maybe have them on a little bit - s'pose piglets are too cute to not have any

Ooh, new thought ... at Easter get some cade lambs so you can bottle feed them  and they'll be used to you so really tame as adults, and you could choose the breed suited to what you want to do with them - raise them for meat, raise their lambs to sell as pedigree, or crosses to eat.

If only you were closer we'd all snatch it up

Did Clootie mention some field space?!!!

On my travels today for some chicken food I saw:

One fox tail in the middle of the road - the rest of the fox's whereabouts unknown.

Lots of really high mounds of snow - higher than me!

One dwarf cat. I say dwarf because it had little stubby legs and looked so odd, but I had a nice tickle and some strokes. It had a little black nose and was really sweet. So there was my cat fix for the year.

One kestrel

2 stupid drivers including a possible drunk one from the way he was (yes it was a man because I could see when he suddenly lost speed and went down to 20mph in a 50 limit) weaving all over the place and erratic speed - fast, slow medium slow slower and zoom - disappeared out of view being chased by one of the other daft drivers.

We're off to Yo Sushi in Reading this evening for Murray's belated birthday dinner - in addition to his one plus cake on his birthday - snow stopped play.

See you later peeps.

That sounds like an eventful outing Koojie.

I'm feeling really down, I found out that one of the mum's at the school has lost her baby at 17 weeks, she was due a couple of weeks before me. Her little boy is good friends with Daniel, and he was so excited about being a big brother, he told everyone at school. I feel so sad for them all, apparently she lost one last year too :(

:( What a shame for her.

Hmm  Might have to test out the beetroot theory

Am completely un-ready for this test  Everyones panicking.

I have one half hour lesson tomorrow at 11.45, yet have to be there all day  Friend has an interview to get into 6th form at the end of the day + I said I'd stay ... will see if I can be bothered  Its not even an important lesson - no exam until June!

I could have a much better day at home ... lie in until 10 then have some breakfast and do a bit of physics revision

Night PT :D

Night night PT xxx

That is interesting Debsie

Aww, seen the blobfishy ?:lol:

I remembered what my news was...eee...our year group in school (180 of us) raised £787 for Help for Heroes :D

Gt filmed by some camera crew in welsh the other day as well...they want to make a dvd and send it out to the welsh schools...not as good as it sounds, we normally see them 30 years after they're made, when they have silly hair styles and very strong welsh accents so god forbid what people are going to be thinking of ours in years to come

I also finished my totoro...so I'll post on the crafty bit later.

Gosh, it's cold and I feel in a rambly mood

Hiya peeps.

Sushi was yuuuuuum. I did rather enjoy soft shelled crab done in tempura batter (apparently it's just rice flour with fizzy water) - although you could see a little body where I pulled the legs off! A short yuk look at that soon disappeared just a bit faster than the plateful!

Erin's college lesson was a bit scuppered when they all started talking about Gordon Brown and digressed somewhat. I can think of nicer things. Like chickens.

Well I am going to turn in to annoy Murray. I am reading a book - The Yes Man. Erin laughed herself silly reading it, Murray couldn't get to grips and got bored. I think it's funny and tend to laugh (got told off last night for rocking the bed and lol'ing). Mwahahahahaaaaa.

So nighty night everyone
