I am going to get some tarpaulins for my run and wondered if anybody had used these.

Are they good?

I bought the biggest size and cut it into the right-sized pieces. I added extra eyelets using one of those kits (you need to reinforce where you put the extra ones, if it's not already on a hemmed side).

 

It works brilliantly .

Just be aware that they are around 30cm smaller than the stated size, due to the way the hems are created (you can see the shortfall on the length in the picture below).

 

I got mine from AllPlas (http://www.allplaz.com/acatalog/Clear_Tarps.html) as Tarpaflex were out of stock of the 2m x 4.5m version I wanted at the time.

I have bought from Adams Tarpaulins as Tarpaflex were quite expensive with made to measure fittings.

 

They make to any size and hem all the way round with eyelets measured equally around all sides. They also provide the toggles.

 

The hem can be any colour so you can match in with your coup
