Move along Egluntine - there's nothing for you here - away and play with Claret and compare notes..... In my defence I can report that this is the first time in 27 yrs of marriage that Him Indoors has ever done anything remotely valentinish. I mean it's not as if I got a card or anything! He just made the most of the fact that the only seats we could get, that fitted in with work schedules etc were for today!!!....I'm not fooled. Guest
I am shocked to hear that so many people are sadly neglected on St Valentine's day. We were working so couldn't do anything special, but I got a card, flowers and a present (a pack of cards with 52 ways to say 'I love you' on them). DD2 met up with her friends and because her friend's father 'doesn't believe in Valentine's day' they all bought the friend's mother some lovely flowers. Isn't that nice? Just remembered, I had some Turkish Delight from Cranberry too!
Martin B
Sounds like you have some Lovely presents Ginette. There was a statement from a young woman on the news. "I don't belive in Valentine's Day, if the person really loves you they should tell you every day not just once a year." I thought that was really nice.
