So Clootie's been crushed, JJ's back and there's so much dribble no wonder we're swimming. I'm not allowed to go phooowarrr either because "it's so wrong". Nonsense - just wait till I get to 80 and that's age not bust size. And Debs gave Henry a nice treat while saving the effort of cleaning the floor. Now I've just got caught in a shower while trying to prepare one of our old veggie beds for . . . RASPBERRIES!!!! Tried digging and raking but 8 bods in the way and see them scatter when it started to rain - leaving me getting rather soggy! Never mind I also bought tons more plants. His lordship isn't happy with me - but at least my plants won't die in a week (he spent 38 quidsies on a scabby bouquet that he could have got from the forecourt of the local petrol station - and some of those I chucked because I don't like monkshood. Perhaps I should have got him to sniff them - everything is deadly poisonous even the pollen). Also got some nice plants for mum for Mother's Day. Had a bit of a tidy up inside and out this morning. Then Si and I went to explore the new The Range shop which has opened near us. I had a bit of a look on Sunday but couldn't get near much as they had just opened and it was packed. Quiter today thank goodness. We also saw Omletina in there Saw lots of bits i liked and managed to get a birthday pressie for MIL and a few other bits we needed. Well we had some lovely fish and chips for lunch. Mum's all ok, won't get the results of the ECG for another few days, think the doctor just wanted her to have it as a precaution as she hasn't had one before. She went because she nearly passed out driving home from work last night, she managed to pull over and sat with all the windows open and fans blowing for 10 minutes. So dad made her go to the docs, the doctor said as she didn't actually pass out he wasn't too worried As it's Olly's birthday, we made a jelly earlier ready for teatime.
