ChrisEllis
You could sell some, they are nice in salads i guess? Boil a load of them and stick them in a salad ?
Lewis
Pickle them We always used to boil ours and put the in vinegar with the shells still on - vinegar breaks down the shells. Otherwise see if friends/family want some, or make ice cream
ChrisEllis
Otherwise see if friends/family want some, or make ice cream How you make ice cream with them? and is it possible to just have eggs on toast, or 'many' eggs on toast lol
Space Chick
There is a restaurant that I go to that makes mini scotch eggs with quails eggs. They are stunning
Chick-a-doodle-doo
Thanks, I think it may just be "many eggs on toast" that I go for... I'm not much of a cook.. I will let you know what it tastes like. Might be able to throw some in a salad too..
kinsk
Poach them and as you pull one out of the pan and put another in, eat one I absolutely love poached quails eggs, they are better than sweets as far as I'm concerned. You can poach a load in advance, just 10-20 secs, lift out and into iced water, if you want them hot drop into a bowl of boiled water just before serving but nice cold to with some salt. Look lovely ontop of risotto, or in a salad.
Martin B
Sell them to a local delicatessen or the like or just to friends and family. They are lovely softly boiled in a nice salad!

Do you pickle normal hens eggs like you would quail eggs then - ie boil in the shells and pickle in the shells ?
Lewis
Otherwise see if friends/family want some, or make ice cream How you make ice cream with them? The same as with normal eggs - only use 4 quail eggs to one chicken egg Do you pickle normal hens eggs like you would quail eggs then - ie boil in the shells and pickle in the shells ? I think you have to peel chicken eggs before pickling
