The Dogmother
Well, if we're onto The Stones then I'll have Paint it Black - one of my all time faves
Tina C
This is much too hard for me but glad to see that Layla features somewhere (my daughter was partly named after that one - but there is a whole other story attached). And as for the Stones its got to be As Tears Go By or maybe Angie. Van Morrison's Brown Eyed Girl might make it onto my list - always makes me dance. No, its just too hard, my head is spinning. And I have to do some work.

Guest
I can't make up my mind..... Music can bring back such vivid memories, both lovely and sad, and to get the mix right is hard! here goes.... 1 Club Tropicana, Wham. It's MY song - it's followed me around since my teens, and everyone knows that it's my song. 2 Have I Told You Lately That I Love You, Rod Stewart. Our first dance when we got married. 3 The Only Way Is Up, Yazz (I think!). Sixth year disco, Alisdair Powers in a white tuxedo..... 4 Wherever You Will Go, The Calling. Up full blast, just one of my favourite songs ever, but it must be played at full volume! 5 White Christmas, Bing Crosby. Has the ability to make me feel festive, and happy, whatever the time of year! 6 Cool, West Side Story. Again, full volume - just FAB! 7 Crazy For You, Madonna. First year disco, first snog....... 8 Friday Night, from the Kids from Fame, live... "Does everybody here LOVE FAME?!" "YYYYYYYYEEEEAAAAAAARGGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!" "Is Fame gonna live FOREVER?!" "YYYYEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGH!" The opening lines to the song on the album - I was there, I was screaming If you listen really hard, I swear you can hear me......! 9 When I Fall In Love, Rick Astley. Was listening to it when I learned a very dear friend had been killed. Still miss him, and the song will always remind me of him. 10 American Pie, Don McLean. Was singing it, during a lock-in, the Friday before Christmas 1990, when I looked up, locked eyes, and fell in love for the first time. Can I have another 10 please.....?
