The Dogmother
Has anyone else noticed that Penny has posted a list of shows in the Days out section - they need helpers. I've done a couple and it's a great (if tiring) day.

Egluntyne
What a pity...they are all too far for me. I wish I could persuade them to do the Bakewell Show....it would be the perfect venue to show off the Eglu.

The Dogmother
Good, email Johannes and get signed up. Chelsea - you usually either get picked by Omlet or meet them there. If you don't have an Omlet T shirt, then they will provide one for you. You help set up the stand, then spend the rest of the day on your feet, talking and demonstrating non-stop. It also involves stopping 'orrible little children from setting the chooks free and turning everything inside out . When/if it's quiet you get a chance to look around the show and have something to eat. I recommend taking a packed lunch. It's great fun and really interesting meeting all those people. Em, you're a natural

One Man Banned
Well I was thinking of putting my name forward for the Gardeners World show but as I have never done it before I am a little nervous to do it to say the least. Joe did the "I'd be no good at it though" when I asked him about helping. May consider the one at Bath too. What do you lot think?
