Fun and games at son's football match *REMATCH!*

Recommended Posts

Actually, OH said the report was fairly accurate - slightly sensational language (as you'd expect) but it was much as they said. There wasn't any actual fighting though as the one group chased the other, which ran away  . YS said he saw one boy with a hammer but they weren't caught up in the middle of it (so no "terrified" fans  ), just watching from a short distance. YS was quite animated about the whole thing  .

They're not replaying the match, thankfully  .

Believe me there are some fowl (sorry) parents out there. ES14 played a team yesterday who in the past - well they are foul (sorry) mouthed, racist and darn right horrible - parents and kids are awful. Thankfully they were less so yesterday and OH was relieved as he wouldnt let me go in case I had a go at one

My 14 year old son went to watch a Lowestoft Town match a few weeks ago with hubby. When he came home he said that there 'were some foul women there', that their 'language was vile' and he was particularly discusted when he said 'and they had children with them'.

Bless him! It was nice that he didn't approve.

OH is a referee and he has some colourful stories to tell of the adult matches that he is involved in.l

He still says that the worst two games he ever reffed (that looks so wrong!!) involved one team who played against DS's team. The coach was awful; most of the parents were awful and the lads threw mud at OH after the game with the blessing of the coach! At the time the lads would have been between 11 and 13!
