Does anybody ever feel ..... Part # 19

Recommended Posts

Well, I have been to Grandads, and then came home to bath Sarah-Jane as she had dirty knickers

She didn't like the bath much, and did attempt an escape attempt, but she loved the blow dry, I didn't even have to hold her, she just stood there :P

I asked her if she was going anywhere nice on holiday this year (in true Hairdresser style), she did answer me, and I may be wrong but I'm sure she said Turkey

I did spy a few lice eggs though :( which explains the dirty knickers, no live lice though (although their dustbaths are highly dosed in diatom and anti lice powder), she has had a good dusting though for good measure, and I will have to take a good look at the rest later - although in fairness, they have only just had a check a week ago and were all "clean":anxious:

Afternoon all :D

Ah, hope you had a nice time at your grandad's Debs and that Sarah-Jane get clean soon

It's morning for me  But I feel fully justified in saying it since I got up at 7:30am yesterday, and it wsan't even a school day

Speaking of school...exam week begins :anxious:

Have fun Sandie :D

You should see the other guy....

Good luck for the exams JJ :D

Grandad was good, its his older brothers 90th birthday on Weds, and with me being in work, we were working our logistics as to how he gets to his party  I think he's going to get a Taxi down, and I'll pick him up after work :D

I will defo be going to see Uncle Harry though, also the other 2 brothers that live away are coming down too, and seeing the 4 of them together during positive occasions (only been funerals recently :( ) is really funny, as they act around each other like they did when they were kids, winding each other up, poking each other and then looking the other way. Its brilliant

I'm wondering whether to Frontline the girls good and proper - think maybe Kitty had something on her back - hard to tell if it was a scab where the other girls peck. They've been doused with powder and anti-mite sprayed, but as I have a tendency to be a bit paranoid, Frontline will give me peace of mind - and the ability to catch up with the eating of eggs seeing as it has a withdrawal period.

How 8)! Happy Birthday.

I hope I'm like that when I'm 90 :D

My cousins nan (not mine ) is in her late 70's but runs everywhere and hops on the bus, then goes on big holidays with her friends. More energy than me

Lewis has dug over the 2 veg beds and put on some chicken poo'y compost, but don't know what to put in them  Might have left it a bit late really, but we'll find something.

Hiya! Dan thoroughly enjoyed himself at the footie, they had fab seats - the very last row, behind the goals. He told me all about it, and as Debs has said Cardiff won

He's at a birthday party this morning, but expecting him home any moment. Hubby got the job of going with him. :D

Been raining here this morning, which I don't mind because everything in the garden was looking very, very dry.

I didn't think Doctor Who was all that scary, Dan was fine watching it too. I've been to that beach they were on 8)

Glad he had a good time PT :D

Ahh, I knew it would rain. Mother did her garanteed rain dance of watering the plants using the watering can

Or changing the oyster shell container...one or the other

Your little baby count down in your sig is making me giggle PT

Rather excited about the !egggreen!!eggblue!

Have bought 15 !eggblue! before + got 1 girl, Purkinje, and then the fox got her!

Aunt + uncle are round, the ones who have Nuggets sister, and their Buff Sussex is still broody and they want her to hatch :D

She may be coming round on Wed and can go in one of the hutches, then the week after the (green eglu) will be spare so could move her into there so if she gets any chicks they'd have a bigger run :P

Nuggets sister was going to come here too, but do you think she'll be ok on her own for that long? She keeps herself to herself usually + if she's lonely can always come here after

He's been looking at making a WIR since I got mine and so has got a few (expensive) quotes so I showed them A4U and West Hagley and so they're going to order one :D

Tegan has laid her first egg

A beautiful cream 38g piece of perfection :D

She has been acting a lot more confident recently (although not crouching  ) and is now (as of 2 days ago) re-integrated back with everyone, and Vicki and Mel are integrated too, and everything is going well "Debs touches wood*, so I thought an egg was going to come soon

On a culinary matter......

We've just had tea, bangers, "mash" and veg- although was done Michelin style

Phil always says he hates parsnips, but I made a parsnip puree using the skills I learnt at the Crown. He sat down to tea and announced "I'm not going to like it", so I told him to try it and rate it on a scale of 1 to 10 (1 being gross, 10 being amazing). He took a mouthful and said "Oh my God Debs, 10 without a doubt 10, its amazing"

I am feeling very very proud (and just a bit boastful):oops:

Yey Blue Eggs Lewis (well done Tasha) :D

I'm not the biggest fan of parsnips, but have to have roast parsnip when we have a sunday dinner

Well done for the 10/10 :P

Well done Tegan !eggbrown! !

Cilla keeps crouching, even if you just walk up the garden past her  Don't know who's laying though - Nugget sits on the nest, but their eggs look really similar colour when theres 2. Might have to try Toms food colouring trick :)

Sarah (docsquid) just phoned - dropping the chooks round tomorrow at 6ish 8)

Have swept up the WIR so hopefully looks a bit tidier, so we can encourage her OH to let her get one  ... and then more chooks

She's just dug up a huge potato we missed last year! I think we'll try and pop it in some compost to see how it does!

Phil has found some Jerusalem Artichokes whilst digging today

Big Suze has been his girl again today, following him looking cute to get some worms

oooh sounds lovely Debs

You will try them on June 12th
