In the chicken speak thread I mentioned that Bridget Brahma had taken to screaming at the other hens if they try to get into the coop while she's laying. Well she's only laid about five eggs and has now gone broody, has spent the last two days guarding the coop For your entertainment I risked life and limb to record her grumblings

I cant see the video but the thought of a huge broody hen scares me!

 

At least my lot are diddy and can be hooked off their nests without too much hassle I'm getting good at the 'scoop and eject' technique now

She wasn't even sat on any eggs, she was on fresh air! I've been and turfed her out again, she then just flattens herself to the ground, waits a few minutes then stomps off in a huff
