Martin B
You might be able to iron it off. Pm flying at you!
The Dogmother
You could try, but I doubt it somehow. Still, for that price, if you make a mess of it, it won't matter.
Martin B
Exactly! If it's made of what I think it is I think I'll be able to get it off!
Cinnamon
You could turn the bag inside out Martin Those ladybirds don't look like they are going anywhere to me
Lesley
If it's printed in the same way as ours, I don't think you'll remove it......
The Dogmother
Mine have a coating on the inside so I don't think they'd work inside out. I'll get you one next week though and pass it on when we see you on 17th.
Paola
I have seen them also, they are lovely
Martin B
Maybe you could transfer straight over it? Oh well, with the one I can experiment. Thanks again Clare.
ubereglu
Which section of Tesco are they in? You see the Tesco we have is massive, and I don't want to spend too longer time there. Martin, about the ladybirds...I'm not going to tell you the plan I have to get rid of them. You'll have to wait and see.

Cinnamon
I don't think they were much - I sort of glanced them out of the corner of my eye as I fought my way out of the store They were featured in a magazine I have somewhere - they are designed by some well known designer, but I can't remember who. leave it with me.................... The Dogmother
Is this them? http://www.jutexpo.co.uk/ My Tesco jute bags are far darker than in the picture
Cinnamon
No, not those ones...those are my Tesco ones though. They have the words sort of scrawled right over the frount & are really funky. Isn't it great that we are getting a bit more choice in our bags now?
bronze
Oh I like them much better We have these plain green things that fold down from morrisons. Not really nice like jute but strong and reusable (69p I think) and I keep one in my handbag all the time. I want some jute ones but we dont have any useful places near us
hillfamily
I really like the look of the Tesco bag but it's got the store's name on and I can't stand Tesco The only thing they are good for (found out quite by accident as I had to borrow a spare one from my old neighbour) is washing up bowls that can be converted into temporary nesting boxes for poorly chooks - the plastic they are made of is the softest I can find so you can easily put a hole in them, thread string through and tie them to the side of the dog cage we use as a hospital, preventing them from tipping over when a chook stands on the side

Laura007
sorry guys another germany thing, but over in berlin everyone and i mean everyone had bags just like the omlet bags. lidl sold plain ones for 39 cents, bargain or what!!!! and another supermarket type shop had them for 99 cents slightly different design but a really good idea. everyone seemed to have them and i think you can probably get them from all sorts of shops selling all sorts of things. here they are, my little german bags Edited March 10, 2007 by Guest
theherd123
So why is it so hard to always do something that simple over here?
Christian
Laura, its because in Germany, all shops charge for carrier bags. Have been for as long as I can remember. At least 20+ years! (PLUS was my favourite shop when I was a little boy )

Christian
the only shops that don't are department stores, but they always ask if you need a bag. (And look at you disapprovingly if you do )
