My uncle has had a broody for a couple of weeks so she came here on Tuesday :whistle: Meet Hilary, Buff Sussex bantam: Popped some eggs under her on Wednesday night, so they're due on the 19th/20th She's got a pekin , 2 welsummer meaty crosses and a cream legbar She's been great so far, coming out to eat, drink + loo stop, for a bit then popping back on the nest. for the 19th. Lewis Posted May 5, 2010 Author Share Posted May 5, 2010 Day 7 and she's been great I didn't think she was eating, but she has been from her crop, and has come out for 10/15 mins everyday. She met the other day - puffed herself up, flew at them screaming and wouldn't let them anywhere near the hutch! The Cream Legbar had hatched but wasn't in the nest and was reeally cold, I thought almost dead ... popped in in the incy with its brother/sister and its perked up now The other 3 eggs have pipped this morning so will keep an eye on them.
