chickenNutter
Due to chaperoning my ghastly performing children, can add Peter Kay Richard 'I don't believe it ' Wilson James 'Likely Lads' Bolam Michelle Collins Author Jacqueline 'Tracy Beaker' Wilson Steven 'Wild at Heart' Tompkinson Michael 'Casualty' French Maxine Peake George Costigan Con O'Neil Maggie Steed Frances Barber cast of 'Heartbeat' and a few others - not exactly 'A' listers, but good solid British character actors, jolly interesting to chat to! And also Syd Little and Bobby Ball - No really, they are still alive!
LuckyChickenLover-
And when we went to legoland at half term we went on the Spinning Spider ride with Rio Ferdinand and his family, the day before he flew out to South Africa I have also met a few 'celebs' at Legoland. I've seen Cheryl Fergison (plays Heather in EastEnders) and one of the Queen's relatives (her granddaughter, I think) there. I also saw Same Difference ( I don't think thay count as celebrities, they were on The X Factor a couple of years a go) at Chessington. Seagazer
In the 80s OH and I stood behind Cheryl Baker (Bucks Fizz) as she was getting her shopping in Safeways in Blackfen, her family lived locally. OH had a huge grin on his face. About 4 years ago we holidayed on a golf resort in Portugal and were trying to book up a horse riding session in reception and Ian Rush and Lee Dixon (just had to ask OH as I have no idea who the last one is) were standing there booking something up. Then David Seaman came in - he was hosting a 'celeb' golf tournament there at the time. I've also seen that funny actor (David Haig - just googled) that was in Four Weddings and a Funeral, he was at a wedding and started smooching one of the bridesmaids, then they became one of the weddings and had Rowan Atkinson as their vicar and he made all the mistakes. I think he was also in The Thin Blue Line. Anyway he was walking with his kids near The London Aquarium whilst I was queuing for about 2 hours to get in

My eldest was star struck,as she watched a show at the time that she hosted - a kiddie thing - can't remember the name if it Cheryl was just lovely to her

I think it looks amazing, but some of the more staid locals are up in arms Will let you know if he comes into Waitrose

LuckyChickenLover-
An Vrombaut (she's the one who wrote / illustrated the 64 Zoo Lane books), but I don't think that counts as it was arranged for her to come to our school. If I'd seen her in the street I wouldn't know who she was. (I don't think she counts as a star anyway, no one acctualy knows who she is. ) I've met a couple of other authors, but I can't remember who they were. One of them was the one who wrote The Demon Headmaster. Gillian Cross I think her name is.

Heidi-Hi
We were leaving the London Marathon this year, and as we drove around the corner at The Ritz, I almost made my husband cause an accident when I nearly screamed 'Look, look, it's them, it's them!' It was the two guys from Little Brittain, Matt Lucas and David Walliams. I was made up!!

He's about quite a lot - and still looks the same, complete with comb over/forward/fringe, but no more platform boots so he is really dinky - Bless xx Our good friend Tim Tolkien (grandnephew of J.R Tolkien) is a sculptor, working lots around the Birmingham area. One of his works is a famous sculpture in the middle of a roundabout somewhere that way of Spitfire airoplanes. Anyway, back to topic. He made this for my husband for his birthday. Its a bit of an in joke, as we live in a 70's house, I have a sparkly loo seat and hubby loves Slade. Inside is a photo Of Dave Hill with the full fringe thing and It has a message writtian by Dave Hill 'dont just sit there, Jump' and is signed. Apparently he knows his neighbour or something and he asked him to do it but omitted to tell him it was going to be mounted in a loo seat Made my husbands day. Now mounted on the wall in our downsatirs loo Oh and Phil Taylor the Darts Player, owns the house nextdoor but one to me and rents it to his friends and is a regular visitor. We saw him last year at Goodwood, he sat at the table opposite to us, absolutely scrummy. He was with his wife and another couple. We also got Lewis Hamilton's autograph then too. Cinnamon
I will tell you what caught me eye about him,as I was really busy when he was in the store. He was really, really sweet with his little blonde son,who was in the front of the shopping trolley. You don't get too many men who you see openly adoring of their babies - it was just lovely (ps, his wife is gorgeous)

MedusA
DD has dated someone famous in the past. He was very charming at the time but it was very much "out of sight out of mind" once he went back to the USA.
