Lewis
Any ideas? Its my sixth form leavers day on Thurday + we're having fancy dress. Its been changed from beach to pyjamas to teachers to future jobs .... and ended up with 'Film Stars' I'll probably end up buying/hiring a costume, but don't know what to look for Ta
Sheilaz
Elvis? He was in films when his career first took off, and it is an unmistakable look, which makes it easier to achieve. Reckon you'd look terrific Lewis, the hair should work well, get someone to help, and definitely post photos! Just an idea.
Torrin
Will Smith from Men in Black outfit is easy, just need a black suit and cool shades!!

Tutti Frutti
Can't you just take a Fistful of Dollars? Or if that's cheating, just add a poncho, cowboy hat and chewed cigar Or badly applied makeup and go as the Joker... or wear a skirt and go as Brad in Troy In which case, YES PLEASE to photos!!! Lewis
... or wear a skirt and go as Brad in Troy In which case, YES PLEASE to photos!!! You've obviously not seen me! Thanks for the ideas. I was thinking Woody from Toy Story, but can't find a yellow checked shirt. We have to go in the costume, get changed into uniform for a formal leavers assembly + then change again into costume! Tutti Frutti
Got it! Go as a St Trinian! Did they specify which uniform you had to wear? Might save you two costume changes
Tutti Frutti
Actually, I can lend you my fake bald head that I wore as Harry Hill (just added glasses and Mr Frutti's best suit with various badges and pens hehe)... then just add a lollipop and you could be KOJAK! (Or howsabout John Travolta in Grease, or Austin Powers, or the Blues Brothers, or... I could go on!) Edited May 8, 2010 by Guest
Valkyrie
You could go as one of the A Team - that's about to be a film. Of course should you choose Mr T I will demand piccies. What the heck - I'll demand piccies anyway.
Valkyrie
Avatar - I have some chopped off plaits you can borrow for your tail. Of course the woad you will have to source.
Tutti Frutti
Of course the woad you will have to source. Made me think of Braveheart! Or BORAT - get a plain grey suit from a charity shop, grey shirt, grey tie and, when you loosen it off and undo the collar, just have a couple of lime green straps threatening to break out! PHOTOS! docsquid
You could do John Wayne - dress up as a cowboy, basically. Or dress up as one of the Blues Brothers Or any of the characters from Star Trek (Spock would be most recognisable) Or get a huge pair of trousers, held up by braces, and dress up as Wallace (of Wallace and Grommit fame) Not that I'm suggesting you look like any of these, you understand
