I just wanted to endorse what Quin says about it being fun, for anyone who hasn't done a show before you might think it is hard work, but it's not. You get to talk about chickens all day and you get paid for it, what's not to like! :D You also get to see all the Omlet products for real, I was fascinated to see the Beehaus at last.

It can be hard on the feet, but bear in mind that during your breaks you can wander round the show, and I've found that other exhibitors will often give a discount if you show your exhibitor pass (or just wave at your Omlet t-shirt!). For anyone who is just thinking about giving it a go, I really recommend it.

I didn't know these things went on! I would have been interested in the HH one but I will be in France and/or have my MIL with me. For future ref - how does it work - would you have to be there all day and what do you have to do, exactly?

Hello Daphne,

Well it is really quite simple - you would be part of the Omlet Team at a show and this would involve you talking to people that come onto the stand who show an interest in keeping chickens, you would demonstrate the Omlet Range and talk about your experiences of keeping chickens and how much fun it is and also how great you find the eglu and such like...

As for how long would you have to be there - ideally from start to finish - however we could be flexible within reason...

Keep an eye out for future shows, you never know you might just enjoy it...

Cheers :)

Any takers for Tatton Park - it's going to be a great show and working with Omlet is loads of fun - talking about chickens, bees and rabbits all day long and what's more you get paid... So if you fancy doing any of the days and live in the area, please send me a PM or give me a call on 0845 4502056

Thanks!

Good Lynda, I am pleased you are so excited, I am sure you will enjoy yourself immensely but don't forget to wear a comfy pair of shoes and if it's hot I'd recommend packing some SPF30 and some Chicken Poop Lip Balm... :wink:

Will there be a beehaus at tatton park?

Yes there will be a beehaus at Tatton Park :D

I tried to talk to somebody there but he said Quin was busy so I came back later and Quin wasn't there.

BUT huge breakthrough............looking at the orange Cube (who was that demonstrating it? ...... again he was so busy I couldn't tell him I was OSH) my DH said he didn't like the colour. The significant thing is that last time we discussed getting a Cube my DH said he didn't like the Cube

PURPLE, I think :lol::lol::lol:
