SHOWS SHOWS SHOWS **2011 UPDATE**

Recommended Posts

Good day today at New Forest Show. Thanks Quin :) I don't think I will be asked back though as I am not very good at the actual selling - just at talking about chooks and eglus and things.

Have fun tomorrow and Thursday Christian and Quin.

Hi All,

Thanks to everyone who has volunteered at an Omlet Show this year...:clap: Your help has been invaluable, its been great to work with so many friendly people who are as passionate about the Omlet product as I am and it's nice to have made a few new friends along the way! :D:D

Just a small update on future shows, it is with regret that I have decided to CANCEL a couple of shows that we were due to attend later this year, these are... :(:(

Royal Berkshire Show (Newbury Show) - 18th-19th September 2010

Malvern Autumn Show - 25th-26th September 2010

However, I have arranged for us to take part in the Moreton in Marsh Show which is a one day spectacular on Saturday 4th September 2010 - you can find out more info here http://bit.ly/cwLKZm and if you would like to volunteer to help on the stand, please send me a PM or drop me an email with your details, my email is quin@omlet.co.uk :):)

And lastly - we will still be attending Grand Designs Live at the NEC in Birmingham on the 8th-10th October 2010 and again if you would like to help at this show, please let me know....:wink:

The Moreton in Marsh Show and Grand Designs Live will probably be our last show if 2010 and in 2011 I will be looking at some other exciting shows that will see us travel further afield so watch this space for more information...:dance:

Thanks again...

Are you going to the National Amateur Gardening show at the Bath and West Showground this year? It's Friday 3rd-Sunday 5th September. You always used to go, and if you are I am available to help out on the Saturday and Sunday.

No, the Moreton Show and Grand Designs Live will be the last shows in 2010 that we be showcasing at.... Sorry... :(

Hi again...

Another October show for all you budding bee enthusiasts out there to pencil in the diary....

Omlet will also be at the National Honey Show held at St George's College in Weybridge Surrey from Thursday 28th October through to Saturday 30th October 2010

The website http://www.honeyshow.co.uk has loads of interesting facts and there will be some fascinating lectures at the show on all things bee related...

So if you have not seen the Beehaus in the flesh this may be the perfect time to pop along and have a long as well as finding out more about keeping bees from the experts!!

Hi again everyone...

Well it's that time again for Omlet to attend another show.... "The National Poultry Show" the last of 2010... It's been a hectic year for the show bus and the show hens but we've all held up pretty well considering....

It seems us attending the National Poultry Show has caused a few ruffled feathers amongst some of you so hopefully by us attending you will show your support which as you know is always massively appreciated....

For those of you that don't know the show is on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st November 2010 at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire - the usual band of products will be on display as well as some Christmas goodies for you to stock up on for those loved ones...

You can find out more information about the show here... http://www.poultryclub.org/home.htm and we look forward to seeing you there...

Best wishes,

Hi - I have seen the Omlet stand at the New Forest show a couple of times. I am helping to organise the Romsey show this year, which is held at the Broadlands Estate in Romsey - which is near Southampton. It's a big show and ideal for Omlet to attend. It's in September - 10th, which is a Saturday. Would Omlet like to come along? I have owned an Eglu for ages (a yellow one - that's dates it!) and a cube too, so would be happy to recommend Omlet as an exhibitor. Let me know if you want details, but you can see some information here:

hi there i would be interested if you are attending any shows in Scotland

Snap, if there's a show in Scotland I would jump at the chance to help out, although I don't have chickens yet only eggs in the incubator. I would happily do it for free too.

Hi ,

This is a slightly different angle on shows- do you look for shows to go to?

I went to the "Edible Garden Show" at Stonleigh Showground, Warwickshire & it was excellent. It was over three days- Fri, Sat & Sun.

As well as everything you could want about growing veg ( a lot of "green" ideas as well) they had an animal section , including a big section about Chickens- hen houses ( all wooden), talks & demos throughout the day. It would be perfect for Omlet.

It was the first one this year , but as it was a success , they intend to hold them again , next year , probabely about March time again.

Jenny
