Chucky Mama
Yay Have mother in law installed ready to watch tonight. It has become an annual event in our house. Snacks ordered and tissues at the ready as we end up crying with laughter. We also place a little bet on who we expect to win - usually bases on politics rather than talent Haven't seen the build up yet and have only seen the Armenia entry (she only just managed to stay in her dress ). Anyone else watching tonight?
Couperwife
did you know that the lines are already open to vote so you can vote for something you havent seen or heard yet (if they arent open yet - they are open before all song have been seen / heard ) yes, we will probably be watching really enjoy it - we like putting the sub titles on and seeing what the words for the songs are in english cathy x

Guest
I'm going to a friends for a Eurovision party tonight. I'm soo excited this year as our entry is one of my former pupils. Josh is a lovely lad and I've been to see him perform many times and I even persuaded him to have a recording of himself singing on his ICT coursework! Jules.
Ooohh Pengy We're having a Euro party here but I won't be there, I'm going to Sainsburys with my mum to escape for a while. I love it, really!
Charlottechicken
I do love Eurovision, so I'll try and stay up to watch it all but we won't come close to winning. I loved Lordi a few years ago and back in the early 80's there was a brilliant Spanish entry from a flamenco singer, which scored no points. I love the ethnicity of it all and the different tastes around Europe
Aimee
I think it's an essential view. Of course, not the same since Terry stepped down but I still stick with it. Off to a friend's house for it, OH refusing Two useful additions here - a score card and Eurovision I-Spy. http://www.bbc.co.uk/eurovision/party/ http://www.bbc.co.uk/eurovision/pdfs/party/eurovision_ispy.pdf
Woodcat
It amuses me terribly. I ended up watching the semi finals that were on on tuesday and thursday (sad i know but aunt in law begged for some company) and i adored one of the entries that involved a very Buck Fizz move with 5 boys pulling their trousers off to reveal very glittery shorts twas very funny. However they didn't go through which i thought was a terrible shame

patsylabrador
No. We're having anti-Eurovision Song Contest and watching The Marriage of Figaro that I taped last night, with pizza and wine. Used to love ESC but went off it a few years ago. But enjoy your evening everyone.

craftyhunnypie
I will definitely be watching. I love cheese, the fashions, the dancing & the down right daring people who sing in it! Fantastic laughter in our house! We had a Eurovision party in our caravan 2 years ago - with nibbles, Cava & paper lantern things hung up! Chucky Mama
Loved Kevin Costner singing for Greece That's who he reminded me of We are putting some money on Turkey - didn't like it that much but reckon their allies will. I loved Ireland, she had a lovely voice. Our guy did well but agree the last 2 notes were a bit dodgy. Sad fact is that we have virtually no allies to vote for us
Christian
Surely you don't think it is political CM? I am shocked. It is down to talent I thought.
